Best Movie Night, ever! Raiders of the Lost Ark with Louisville Orchestra playing the score…Best night at the movies I’ve ever had. Beautiful!
It has been a while since I saw Raiders of the lost Ark. I did get to see it originally when it first came out and of course, I thought it was amazing. The experience of watching the movie with a live Orchestra playing the music brought back that feeling of Wonder and excitement that I got from this masterpiece of a movie.
This was an epic experience! I have always wanted to see an orchestra perform a movie soundtrack and this gave me that opportunity. And watching the movie with it? EVEN BETTER! It was super cool and I will definitely do it again!
We watched the Louisville Orchestra play the Raiders of the Lost Ark score with the movie playing as a backdrop. I've never been to one of their movie score concerts and really had a great time. The Palace is always amazing and so beautiful. We'll be going back for sure. What I won't do is be buying $15 Live Nation beers at the Palace. That's crazy.
The orchestra was excellent. You could hear every instrument throughout the movie. Timing was terrific as the orchestra started at the correct moment throughout the entire show. The Palace is a great venue with terrific acoustics. The concessioins were great and the staff was helpful. We are lucky to have such agreat orchestra here in Louisville.
The concert was beyond fabulous and so festive! It may have to be a Holiday tradition.
Love classical music and live bluegrass music! Louisville Orchetsra and Michael Cleveland and his Flamethrowers band were excellent!! Music so good it brought the tears to my eyes!!
THE BEST CONCERT! It’s a must see. The fiddle player was amazing!!
I loved the Louisville Orchestra performance! I also loved the twist of bluegrass music that was backed up by the orchestra. It was a delightful evening…..😊
I bought tickets for my daughter (mid 20's) and mother in law (mid 60's) and was not really sure what to expect but hoped it would be all things Christmas and get us ready for the holiday! And boy, did it ever. The stage looked beautiful with the right amount of white lights and tree's and the Louisville Orchestra was amazing. The real highlight was the singing and tap dancing by the performers. What incredible talent. The show offered an intermission and start to finish was about 2.5 hours which was a little long. While the music was amazing, some of the crowd was a bit restless and it did get warm in the auditorium during and after the intermission. But overall it was wonderful and such a perfect way to kick off the Christmas festivities!
