The Bats are great, the stadium is great, all the seats are great.
We have attended several Bats games at Slugger Field. This ballpark is awesome! The designers did a great job, everything that you want at the game is very handy and there really aren't any bad seats depending on what you plan to do at the game. It is a very family oriented and kid friendly ballpark, all at a bargain price. Oh, by the way, the Bats are super too! Good luck against the Bulls!
The entire experience was a great family time for ourselves, our children and grandchildren. The Bats organization does a great job.
great event, except for the bats losing. slugger field is an awesome place to see a ballgame.
We are from out of town and it was a spur of the moment event we took on, we had such a great time and the stadium is extremely nice and enjoyable. The Bats gave a great effort, although they did loose, but overall the fans and city of Louisville is a great place to come and visit.
It was a good game. its always fun at the ball park with the food, and all the little things that make a night at the ball game fun.
The ballpark is beautiful, very clean and well-maintained. Our view of the game was excellent. Louisville is very fortunate to be able to offer great entertainment like this at a reasonable price.
We always have a great time going to a Bats game. Any seat in the stadium is worth having. It's so hard to find something fun for every age in the family that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Bats games are not only affordable, but alot of fun! Thanks!
First "professional" baseball game that I took my son too. A memorible experience. The seats were perfect as well. I didn't figure that I would get that good of seats (down the first base line, row N). Very nice stadium to watch a ball game too. I wouldn't think there would be a bad seat in the place. A few foul balls came our way as well, almost caught one. Although it rained a little in the 7th inning, the weather was quite comfortable. Easy place to park as well (only $5 to park at the stadium parking lot). Would also recommend taking family to see the Louisville Slugger bat museum as well. The food was great as well. Not to over-priced. Try the Grandslam hotdog!! Just have to have a hotdog, roasted peanuts, and a beer at a ball game. Overall a great experience for the for the whole family and for the little leaguer as well. Would definatly go back again next summer.
Louisville Slugger Field and the Louisville Bats are a family friendly environment with many extra things for kids besides the game.
We had a great time at the baseball game on Sunday evening made even better when they won. The rain came late enough that it wasn't a problem. I would not recommend the popcorn or the pretzel because they were very old and stale however the hot dogs we had were great. Slugger Field is beautiful. Everyone should see a game because if you're not a fan before you go there's a good chance you will be before you leave.
Louisville Slugger Field is a great place to take a family to a baseball game. The bats have won their division the last two years so the quality of play is excellent and you don't have to pay the arm and leg that the Major League ballparks are charging. You can get great seats for a family of four for less than 50 bucks and on family nights you can get sodas and hot dogs for a buck each. The ballpark has a picnic area and a carousel for the kids to ride. Buddy Bat provides entertainment, and the night we went "QuickChange" was there and they had a fireworks show after the game. Even a few sprinkles couldn't spoil the fun! Nothing bad to say about this place...the whole family loves it.
I am from Dayton, which has a relatively new baseball stadium (built 2000) for a new baseball team (Dayton Dragons) that has been sold out in advance for every game in the history of the franchise. I am used to good facilities. Slugger Stadium was, therefore, somewhat of a disappointment, particularly when it comes to restroom facilities. They seemed to be few and far between, and there were not nearly enough stalls. While there seem to be 20 stalls in the women's restroom in Dayton, there were only about 5 in Louisville, and they were in need of cleaning. On the other hand, the Bats won, which can make up for a lot.
Excellent weather, great ballpark food, exciting 6th inning made it a nice outing. Always enjoy games at Slugger Field!
We brought our 8 & 10 yr olds to Louisville for the weekend. We went to the Bats game 9/6. This stadium is awesome -it reminds me of Wrigley--The prices are cheap for tickets & food. They even have a kids zone. Everyone at the stadium was friendly-- My kids were asked to yell "PLAYBALL" on the field to start the game. We got to see a fireworks show after the game it was 15 mins long and my kids loved it. Oh yeah before I forget this team "ROCKS" as my kids put it --its well worth the trip or added it too your trip if you're going to be in Louisville- We will go to Lousiville and see the Bats play again.
I have always enjoyed going to the Bats games in Louisville. This game was no exception. I do have a particular place I like to sit though and won't go unless seats in that area are available. I always see families/couples/friends having a good time at the games. What can be better than that. I encourage folks to spend some quality time together at America's favorite pastime. I will tell you that you need to leave some time to find or get to parking in the area as the streets are increasingly busy the closer it gets to game time.
Had a Great time with my old college roomate at the game. The weather was perfect, as well as the seats we had. We are thinking about getting tickets for games next year.
The Bats lost but it was a beautiful evening and we all had a lot of fun.
