    Must Attend Again

by KenR1 on 7/16/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

This was the first AAA game I have attended and must say that I enjoyed myself very much. The atmosphere was as expected at a ball game and the teams were playing as hard as they could. They both wanted to win and that was reflected in their play. The food was very good and I learned that some of the food was not available after the 4th. inning. I also learned what side of the field to sit on to keep out of the direct sunlight. My next ticket purchase will be on the 3rd. base side of the field. Overall, the experience was wonderful.

    The Bats are great

by djkudrak on 7/12/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

Seats were only $10, which was terrific. Nice stadium, only 60% full so lots of room to roam. My seats were in the sun, had no problem moving around to shaded seats. Easy to park across the street for $5, no problem getting out after game. Was a great experience.

    Slugger Field is Decent

by ChicagoTraveler66 on 7/11/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

Louisville Slugger Field is a decent place to watch a Triple A game. We sat three rows from the field on the 1st base side and the tickets were very affordable at $10 apiece. The stadium is laid out nicely and gives a great view of the Ohio River which is just a block away. There were many kids in attendance but they were all well behaved. Slugger Field is very "kid-friendly". I would go back in the future.

    The Bats Win!

by KidRob on 7/11/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

Great game--the Bats looked good and hung in there, toughed it out, and carved out the win.

    Great ballpark experience!!

by nonnilulu on 7/11/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

It may be a minor league team but it's a first rate ballpark and experience. The food is different than Great American and generally much better!!! The staff does a great job of integrating the mascot into the game and the activities between innings is fun for both the viewers and the kids participating. We were on the first base side which you need to be careful of if it's an afternoon or early evening game since the sun will be directly in your eyes. Our second game on Sat. we were on 3rd base side and much better.

    Grandson's 1st Bats game

by Hville02F on 7/7/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

This summer my grandson, who is almost 7, played his first real Little League baseball this summer -- he played 2nd base and left field. He is staying with us this week, so I thought it would be a neat to take him to see his first Bats game. We live in Hodgenville, so it was a lengthy trip to Louisville and back, plus I have to get up at 3:00 AM to go to work, but when I asked him if he would like to go, he immediately said yes. It happened to be dollar hot dog and pepsi night, so we loaded up on both, along with Nachos and Cracker Jacks and found our seats, in the front row in section 222. My grandson gets sort of fidgety and is not patient at times, but he insisted in staying for the whole ball game, and even though he was disappointed that the Bats lost, he was happy with the experience, and I was happy to have had the chance to share some quality time with my grandson, who will be going back to North Carolina at the end of the summer.

Bats baseball is great fun for the family

by Anonymous on 7/7/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

The ball park is beautiful and clean. The game was OK - the Bats weren't at their best - but the fans that were there were pretty enthusiastic. Great playgrounds for kids. I would suggest going on $1 hot dog and Pepsi night as that is really the only way for eating at the park to be affordable. There's also lots of nice green space to see around the ballpark on the waterfront in Louisville if you get there early. All in all, great memories for our family!

    Kids had a great time

by TheDutchie on 7/6/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

Great evening out for family. Concession prices are really affordable. They loved the Bat jumping around, the noise meter and were just even people watching.

    OKAY

by fewerADSonTV on 7/5/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

The game was great and the team was amazing. Unfortunately, the vendors were terribly slow. With 2 kids, over 1/3 of the game was spend standing in seperate vending lines for basic snacks and drinks. Extremely disappointed with the lack of entertainment between innings. These little extras basically amounted to commercials on the big screen. Oh, and with a 30 minute wait to pick up tickets from the Will Call window, we missed the first inning of the game. Conclusion: With long lines and too many commercials, the actual game is of little consequence.

    Seats

by Town1 on 7/5/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

We got tickets in section 129 were absolutlely the worst seats I have ever had we were right behind the foul pole in left field and could not see the batter at all. It was very hard to watch the action when you could not see the ball coming of the bat. If this is the only section left I would never go to another game.

Concessions too much for average food

by Anonymous on 7/4/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

The price of concessions was WAY too high. The food isn't that good. It's more expensive than going to the movies. It is a one of a kind experience, but the cheap ticket prices don't make up for the $2.25 12 oz. Sierra Mist for my 4-year-old and my $4.25 Diet Coke, $4.00 pretzel and $4.50 (?) for the Bud Light. The beers are smaller than they used to be, also. I mean, really, the people workinng the concession are doing it to raise money for their charity, so they don't cost you all that much money.

    Concessions...

by Hovenator on 7/4/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

The game was nice; however, almost everyone working at the concession stands had an extremely bad attitude and did not treat the customers with respect. Also, leaving the game was horrendous. Directing of traffic should have been better managed. Again, I do have complaints, but our seats were in a very good spot (behind 1st base) and the price was right.

Louisville Slugger Ballpark is a gem!

by Buckyb1990 on 6/24/10Louisville Slugger Field - Louisville

We attended on a very hot day; yet the ushers were very accommodating finding us very good seating in the shade. Stadium is very fan friendly and concessions, restrooms, and air conditioned areas were very accessible. Really enjoyed the game and they gave us a win as well. Recommend the Louisville Slugger Bat Museum as a part of the visit.
