disappointed in the show for a few reasons. the ticket said that the show was to start at 930pm. It didn't start until 12midnight. This was due to the club showing a cable boxing match that never ended. no too happy that I had to stand and watch boxing for 2.5 hours...that's not warm-up band. as far as lou, i am sorry to say that i now realize why he truly is not in foreigner anymore. he has lost that incredible voice...very weak compared to how he used to sing. the musicians he had playing for him were marginal at best. the weakest link was the guitar who quite honestly did play foreigner songs very well. unfortunately, i think you have want to hear old foreigner songs played well, you'll have to see the new foreigner.
Lou Gramm did his best to deliver the Foriegner classics, and listening to them was like running into an old friend. Graham was not nearly what he used to be, but his love for the fans shines through. It was fun to sing along and remember the good ole days.
My husband and I really enjoyed the evening. Lou puts on a great show. He is one of my top favorites.
After sitting thru 2 otherwise forgetable bands, Lou Gramm made the wait worth while. The first couple songs were a bit rough, but things tightened up nicely and turned out to be a very good show. Lou played a couple of his solo tunes, but the balance of the show was exclusively the Foriegner hits we all love. The band (which included 2 brothers) were very good, although the drummer was obscured behind a dirty glass screen. I would love to see Lou Gramm tour with Foriegner.
