Lou Gramm is a Rock 'n' Roll Legend

by Csoaosa on 7/14/14Uptown Theatre Napa - Napa

I am so glad I was able to see Lou Gramm in concert. He truly has one of the best voices in rock 'n' roll and gives 1000% in his performance. Lou has been through so much healthwise and it is a gift to us all that he is still sharing his talent with us. I've loved Foreigner and Lou's solo music through the years. Thank you, Lou, for playing the Uptown Theater in Napa!!! Hope you'll return!!!

    Lou Gramm / Marty Balin

by Vinylkeeper on 3/17/14New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

Great show. The music and the musicians all hold the test of time. It was very special to have Slick back at the guitar, they utilized a youth chorus for Miracles and a few other songs, Gramm used the chorus for 'I Want To Know What Love Is'. Some wear on the voices but more than compensated by the experience they bring to the stage. My 14 year old son met Lou in the lobby after the show and is still talking about the great time he had.

    Who is Lou Gramm

by JackCz on 2/19/14Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

I was kind of excited when I discovered that the "...Voice of Foreigner..." would be playing in Atlantic City the same time that I had planned a get-a-way vacation. Although I considered myself a Foreigner fan during their day, I had no idea who Lou Gramm was, so I thought I would be seeing a tribute band. After seeing the show I can understand why Lou Gramm was such a low key to Foreigner. I recognized most of the songs that they played, however, there was always something lacking in most of the popular tunes. Just the same, I would still mention it to anyone who remembers Foreigner. I just wouldn't go overboard raving about how they "have to see it" before they die. It could be I just had bad seats - section C, row 4, seats 5 & 6???

Lou Played All His Hits For A Great Show!

by Popps on 4/10/12Bears Den At Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel - Niagara Falls

Lou is still great at 60! He played all his hits with a great band including his brother on drums. His two guitar players were quite awesome also. The show really moved along with one great song after another. It was a great night and we really enjoyed the show!

Lou has still got it. Lou Gramm Band was excellent. The evening was very enjoyable - from the selection of songs, the awesome range of voices the band had and the obvious enjoyment of the crowd. Could have sat and listened for several more hours. Welcome back Lou Gramm and your band.

    Lou still has it!

by Eddiejk1 on 4/8/12Bears Den At Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel - Niagara Falls

Lou Gramm and his band rocked The Bear's Den Friday night, which consisted of his brother Ben on drums plus 3 local, well-known Rochester-area players on bass, guitar and keyboards, who were more than up to the task of faithfully recreating the many Foreigner songs presented to the overly enthusiastic full house that evening. Lou was in great voice, the best I've heard him sing since his operation some years ago; it was a thrill to hear that famous vocal delivery for a solid one and a half hours, and it was evident that he was quite moved by the crowd's constant cheering and several standing ovations. Lou is back!

Lou Gramm, still the Juke Box Hero!!!

by Rainex on 3/18/10Andiamo Celebrity Showroom - Warren

Lou Gramm and his band put on a fantastic show at Andiamo's, with a mix of Foreinger hits and Lou's solo hits they Rocked the house! The band sounded great and Lou sounded great. one thing for sure is "the man can sing" and he gives it his all!!! Would have loved to have heard Lou sing one of the songs from his new CD, but hopefully he will add one soon! All and all a great show and I would highly recomend it!

Lou Gramm and Andiamo Celebrity Showroom

by oibafblue on 3/14/10Andiamo Celebrity Showroom - Warren

I thought Lou Gramm and his band put on a rockin', energetic show. The band was tight and appeared to be having a good time. As Mr. Gramm had indicated in a recent local interview, they change some of the songs a little to keep them fresh and keep having fun with them. Mr. Gramm's voice has aged well - he's still got it. It should be noted that Andiamo forces valet parking which adds to the cost of the event. It is reasonably priced and efficient but you get it whether you want it or not. My final comment/warning regarding Andiamo is that when you pay cash for drinks - don't expect to get change. I intended to leave a reasonable tip but not as much as the waitperson got by not returning the change from the cash I tendered to cover my tab.

    Good Performance

by suctioncup on 3/14/10Andiamo Celebrity Showroom - Warren

I thought Lou Gramm gave a decent performance, he's gotten better within the last couple of years but he's still not quite up to what he was 20 or 30 years ago. I noticed he sings all of his songs in a lower key than what they were originally recorded in when he was with Foreigner, but that's commonplace these days when artists perform live. The concert was surprisingly shorter than what I expected, it only lasted a little over an hour and he didn't perform some of his best songs such as "Waiting for a Girl Like You" and "Urgent". However he did perform everything else and I was glad to see him perform after the health problems he's dealt with in recent years. I would say if you are a die hard Lou Gramm or Foreigner fan you will enjoy this concert.

by Jethrobodean on 3/14/10Andiamo Celebrity Showroom - Warren

Great show in a small venue. Lou's voice still sounds great. Brings you back to the 70s and 80s. Band was great as well. Could have playe a few more classics like Starrider and Say You Will, but, all in all a great show. Highly recommended.

The Lou Gramm Band put on an awesome show. Joe's Bar made every effort to make the transition between the previous event and The LGB show go smoothly.
