All joking aside Lou Christie can still it the high notes. Great show.
His voice is great. At our age, it's wonderful to see performers that we have enjoyed through the years. I love the 60's. He sang almost all the songs from the Bottom Line CD. Great!!!!!!!!!!!
Lou Put on a really great show! We traveled 4,hours to see him, and it was sure worth it!
Lou Christie & his concert were the greatest ever. Sure hope you have him again. He is a great showman and a wonderful person. We have been very lucky to know him & have his music. His entire staff is super and we love them all.
First time at the Bear's Den, but it was a great little place. It's like being in someone's backyard, watching a concert - Lou didn't really even need a mic. He's still got it, he's still got those high notes (and the low ones) and he was fun to watch and hear. But the show was only 60 minutes with a 25 minute opening comic (Rick Syracuse) who was only so-so. We would rather have had 90 minutes of Lou!
everything was very enjoyable the show was great the opening comic was great staff was great...just a very nice experience!
The Show was great! The Classics were very entertaining and sung well. Barbara Harris sounded good, but it was disappointing that she sung only one of the two hits she had. The Drifters were able to keep the original sound despite the fact that they had over 50 different people over the time they were popular. Both Jay Siegel of the Tokens and Lou Christie were very good with their falsetto voice. Jay Traynor is now with the Tokens. He had 2 hits on his own with different groups. So that was like an extra bonus.
Every single act from Jay Siegel and the Tokens to Lou Christie were absolutely fantastic. They all sang Christmas songs and then they sang their original hits. Charlie Tomas and the Drifters were such a CLASS act. The performers were so funny and entertaining. Definitely a show I would go to again and again with the same performers. You could not get tired of all of them singing. Their voices still sound just like when they were younger even though they are older.
