WE HEARD EVERY SWEET VOCAL NOTE AND SYLLABLE UNTIL THE DAMN BASS DRUM AND ELECTRIC BASE GUITAR KICKED IN. AFTER THAT, THE REST OF THE VOCAL ON EVERY NUMBER WAS UNINTELLIGIBLE! THOSE BASS NOTES WERE SO OVERPOWERING THAT WE HAD TO RESORT TO EAR PLUGS. AT LAST, DURING THE LAST NUMBER WHEN THE BAND DID ONLY VOCAL ACCOMPANIMENT, WE AGAIN HEARD HER PRECIOUS VOCAL TALENT.
Good Nashville country music sound compared to the c/w music played today on the radio stations! Bring back Alan Jackson, George Strait, Merle Haggard type of country music again!
Do you remember Lorrie, you talked to me and Gary, my wife was celebrating her 2nd year cancer free she idolized you since she was a kid , wish we could've go ot a picture with you , reach out to us if you ever see this it would be the best day ever for her , thanks Ed
Lorri Morgan is awesome! Her show was entertaining and touching. Love the stories!
When I was 7 I was supposed to see lorrie in concert. She cancelled due to an illness and I've had that void in my life for 32 years. I most recently saw Lorrie in Owensboro and it was by far a dream come true. It was everything I had hoped for. I am glad it had to happen at this time because a seven year old me may not have appreciated her as I did. No flashy lights, no crazy dancing just her and her band. I would definitely see her again.
She had her son open for her and he was a pleasant surprise.. Lorrie had allergies but kept on going. She is stunning!
Lorrie does a great concert! She was very personable and real, adding some humor to the show between songs. The show was opened by her son, Jesse Keith Whitley, who was also great. He sang his own music and added a few of his late Father's hits, it was touching. Her outfit was stunning and her band was amazing! She took a lot of time to introduce them and showcase their musical talents and offer her thanks to them. I am so glad I went to see her.
Lorrie Morgan was great, sang her greatest hits, and several other great songs. I took my daughter along, she said “Mom, I had a great time”! Lorrie truly is a great entertainer & better than ever. A diva in her own right!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Her music and her band were so good. I left feeling good and with a smile on my face.
Love her and her personality. Great price and great show
Fantastic singer and a comedian too! Very glad I went!
Such a fun and memorable concert for me and my Mom as we sang and laughed together! Our 2nd Lorrie Morgan performance and it was awesome!
I was disappointed in Lorrie's concert. IT WAS VERY SHORT. I felt cheated! I was expecting at least an hour. Her performance was good, what she done. Mark Wills was good. I had forgotten some of his songs. The chairs were VERY uncomfortable and too close together.
I know didn’t have a whole lot of hits but she played a 45 minute set. No encore and right back to the tour bus. Highly disappointed.
I paid to see Lorrie. She sang for 1/2 hour and her voice was breaking, and off key. She was wiping her nose and left abruptly. Audience thought she was coming back out but no. Her set list is normally 16 songs...we were cheated out of hearing many of her hits. I understand being sick but I would like my money back for my two tickets. I did not get what I paid for.
When the opening act for Lorrie Morgan -- Mark Wills -- was on the stage for an hour, my husband & I were shocked when Lorrie Morgan only performed for 30 minutes! She sang about 7 or 8 songs and it was over!!
Mark was amazing. Like, amazing. Lorrie was good but the show was super short. No encore. A little disappointing for sure. But she killed Lady in Red!
Enjoyed her concert while it lasted but it was a very short concert. Everyone around me said no way it can be over. Poor older man went to get him a drink and when he was going back to his seat the lights came on, he missed the whole concert. I believe she sang only 6 songs!
We traveled 4hrs from St Louis to Kansas city to watch the show. Spent a good chunk of change to spend the night at Ameristar and also to eat several meals out. To have Lorrie only perform for 35 minutes and not really engage with the audience, it was very disappointing. I've been a fan of hers since the early 90's, it was my birthday that day, and this was the first time I got to see one of her shows. I was confused and perplexed. Sorry.
