About

Lorie Line is one of the longest touring artists in the country, and Ticketmaster has been successfully selling her tickets for over 30 years! Be sure to see her when she stops in your town as she brings her own concert grand piano and performs memorable music with over-the-top costumes.

Her story is quite unique as her career started as a pianist in a department store (Dayton's). Since then she has recorded over 60 albums and might just be the most published arranger of piano music in modern day times with over 800 songs (sheet music) available to download. Her piano music on Pandora is almost at one billion spins and she has performed on over 2000 stages across the country. Lorie was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 2015 and she continues to be one of the hardest working women in show biz.

  • Lori & Fab 5 Were Fantastic!

    by Carol2John on 12/13/09State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Once again Lori and company entertained us and the time literally flew too fast. Very enjoyable and the talent is superb. Loved the 12 days of christmas with the children. I still can't believe they got all those costumes on that fast. To organize that ad lib and so fast was amazing. My kudos to the stage manager. Can't wait to see her next year!

This was a beautiful concert, family appropriate. Lori is truly an artist, comperable to Roger Williams or Liberace

  • Class Act as Usual!

We love going to Lorie Line each year! I have two daughters aged 21 and 11. I started taking the 21 year old yearly as part of a Mother/Daughter group of friends 9 years ago. Three years ago I brought my younger daughter as well. We have treasured this tradition ever since. We love Tim's humor, Loire's vulnerability as far as being "real" and of course the music! With that said, I will say that I found this years show lacking in the 'Holiday Extravaganza!" Excitement. I admitt this was my fault as well since I assumed it was going to be her usual Show Stopper event. I did not read the title of the concert saying "Intimate Christmas" ( I love her intimate concerts so had I read that I would have known what type of a program it was going to be). This year I included a very dear woman in our group and was looking forward to sharing the tradition with her. This would have included her first bell and continued years of coming with us and collecting her bells as well. Both of my daughters and myself have our collections proudly displayed all year long! Imagine our disappointment when we were told there were no bells! Especially since it was her 20th anniversary of Christmas Programs! I missed the thrill and excitement of previous concerts and I hope that next year you bring back the Extravaganza and the bells.

  • Loved it!

I have attended 19 of Lorie Line's Christmas shows. I truly have enjoyed all of them;however, some of the first one and this year's show rank near the top. The focus was the piano and the music. My sons have been attending with me for most of the 19 years; now my husband and daughters-in-laws also attend. It's a great Christmas event for us. Having been an elementary educator for over 40 years, I commend your ability to produce the Twelve Days of Christmas with the children and keeping it to under 15 minutes. Thank you for your fabulous performances!

  • Wonderfully Entertaining!

Lorie Line is not only a wonderful pianist who can arrange and play any thing, but she is a wonderful showperson! Her shows include such beautiful costumes, set designs, dancing and singing and of course, audience participation! It's always a very entertaining show!

  • Lorie Line was fantastic

by yancyboy on 12/13/09State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This was a professional, unforgettable performance. The incorporation of the children from the audience for the 12 Days of Christmas was remarkable and heartwarming. Lorie is a one of a kind musician.

  • Disappointed

by Licorice on 12/4/09Mayo Civic Center Presentation Hall - RochesterRating: 3 out of 5

We missed the old gang! We could have heard three additional songs instead of listening to one-on-ones with "the Fab 5"..while the story of the 18 year old was the best story...did it really add value to the show...I think not! I'm sure it's difficult to come up with new ideas for a production every year but let's go back to the way it was!

  • Lorie Line gets better every year!

by LorieLineFan on 12/3/09Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful show. It really felt like Christmas when the entire audience sang Silent Night. The third, and best, Lorie Line Christmas concert I've seen so far! Great new venue! Didn't even have to worry about parking - a nice change from the downtown Mpls venues where I've seen her in the past.

I've been to many of Lorie's performances but this was my favorite. It truly was an intimate evening. My daughter and I had good seats so we were closer to the performance. It had a very personal touch and I love the more traditional Christmas style. I truly hope she will perform at the Burnsville Perfoming Arts Center again next year! The only thing I was disappointed in was that she did not have a bell this year; especially since it is her 20th Anniversary.

  • Beautiful

by JSBurn on 12/2/09Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Beautiful selection and wide array of musical styles. My children, ages 7 and 11, both loved it! The set is beautiful! The musicians are amazingly talented. It is a fairytale, memory-making evening filled with fun, laughter, and even some tears at the beauty of it all. The venue is great!

  • It was an Intimate and Enchanting evening!!

by ChristmasAngel on 12/2/09Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the Intimacy and the traditional Holiday music. I miss that in many of the Christmas shows. I think the classic Christmas music brings back so many memories! I loved that Lorie shared her stage with her fellow musicians and Tim. Not many people are willing to sacrifice the focus in this way. I also think that she changed the lives of many children, by allowing them a part in this Christmas Festivity. My daughter was able to participate and came back to her seat beaming exclaiming, "I got to see Lorie Line up close." She may not remember the music at seven years old, but I know she will never forget sharing that moment with Lorie. What a wonderful way to "ring" in the Christmas Season and the New Year!

  • LORIE LINE WAS GREAT!

by LUPELOR on 12/2/09DECC Auditorium - DuluthRating: 4 out of 5

MY DAUGHTERS AND I VERY MUCH ENJOYED THIS YEARS CONCERT. WE HAVE BEEN GOING FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS ONLY MISSING ONE CONCERT IN BETWEEN THEM. I DID MISS NOT BEING ABLE TO BUY A BELL, THOUGH, AND I DID MISS A VOCALIST. I LOVED THE BAND SHE DID HAVE WITH HER AND HER INTERACTION WITH THE AUDIENCE MADE US FEEL LIKE WE ACTUALLY KNEW HER WELL!

  • Lorie LIne was GREAT

We all enjoyed last nights concert. It was the 5th time for my hubby and myself and the first time for a friend who came with. She was surprised and very impressed.

  • Lori Line Holiday Show

by Hillmeister on 12/2/09Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The music portion was outstanding as usual, but the individual chatter of the musicians detracted from the overall quality. I came to hear music not stories.

  • A Most Wonderful Christmas Beginning!!

by Corlyn on 12/2/09Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It was truly AMAZING in every way, as wonderful a program as I have ever attended! Being a retired grandmother, it rekindled how proud I am to be an American, as well as a Minnesotan! Lorie Line and company, including her very personable and talented husband, are truly at the top of entertainment for all ages. You are to be complimented for bringing them to Burnsville, both in the spring and again now in December. Thank you!!

  • Lorie Linn was good

Too much like a Lawrence Welk Show. Did love her playing and all her costume changes. Fiddler was great.

  • by Boo9 on 11/30/09DECC Auditorium - DuluthRating: 5 out of 5

Lorie Line is fantastic year after year! We enjoy seeing her, her husband, and the other musicians. She is a great musician and performer!

This is our 12 show that we have been lucky to attend! Each of Ms. Lines appearances has been fun filled, touching, and almost personal. Her talent goes beyond good, she is fantastic. What a way to begin our celebration of Christmas!!

  • Lorie Line was superb

by Dassy on 11/30/09Des Moines Civic Center - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed the Lori Line show. Have followed her over the years and was thrilled to see her do her "traditional show" with more of her playing the piano and not so much of the costume changing and story telling by Tim. Last year was a big disappointment, however she came back with an unforgettable show this year. I would recommend her to everyone.
