Very unique and entertaining show. The opry house was a great venue. Glad I went.

About
Lorde is a Grammy-winning artist and cultural force, known for her genre-defying sound, introspective lyricism, and striking creative vision. Lorde: All That & More
by Wildchildsmom on 9/22/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5My 16 yo daughter & I fell in love with Lorde the first time we heard her on TV, on Good Morning America. We were so excited when we learned that she was coming to Raleigh, NC. We counted the days until we could purchase our tickets. We ordered them online & printed them so we'd have them in our hands, (couldn't wait for snail mail...) The day of the concert we were up & ready early so we could take our time & enjoy the day. We made a great new friend (from FL) while waiting in line, our seats were great & the weather couldn't have been more perfect for an outdoor event.
Lorde
by jaguarxox on 9/22/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5Great music but she only played for 75 minutes total.
Thank You!!!
by Anonymous on 9/21/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5As a fan of Lorde, I was pleased with the show...a talented young woman and her powerful voice delivering a solid performance. As a mother of a 14 year old fan, I was deeply touched by a talented young woman delivering a solid message to her teen fan base. " Growing up may be scary...don't rush it and be there for each other "...I would pay for that concept to be voiced by one of my daughter's idols again and again and again....

I flew all the way from Florida to see her perform in Raleigh, North Carolina and it was totally worth it. Lorde is an amazing artist, person, and teenager. Everyone should see her live!

Opening act was solid (obviously nervous but played that to his advantage), Lorde was great, and production values were fantastic. It's not a stadium production and that's one of the show's charms. We were very lucky, too, to see Lorde right at the start of the tour -- she was obviously full of energy. It was a genuine pleasure.
Lorde was amazing!
by Hope575890 on 9/21/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5The concert was really good! Lorde is an excellent singer and I had a great time at the concert. The only thing is that I was waiting in line for a long time and when the gates opened people got in front of me that was at the back of the line because of how they were letting people in and I was in the pit so I got pushed back.
Bad seat but Lorde was PERFECT!
by Lindsinclair on 9/21/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5I got there at 6:30 gates opened a little later than that. I went to my seat and it looked pretty decent with out all the people there yet. There was a lot of awesome merch! The concessions and restroom locations were very convenient. Majical Cloudz opened up at about 7:30. They were a great band to listen to before Lorde. Lorde went on at about 8:30 and held the stage for a little over an hour I think. She had a few costume and set changes. She was so amazing. I'm a huge Lorde fan and had high expectations, but she totally topped them. Her vocals were on point. She was so kind and beautiful! The seat I had was really bad, I could barely see. :( I wish I had gotten a closer seat or a GA Pit ticket. I couldn't imagine having to sit any further back. It was a struggle. But Lorde made up for it. If I were to go back to this venue I would get a front row seat or a pit ticket.
Lorde at Red Hat
by Vadim5 on 9/21/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5It was really good. Worth the wait. She played eight songs and spoke to the crowd here and there. Great place too. I'll certainly come to the next showing if she returns.
Lorde is captivating!!!
by saxon1 on 9/21/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5Strong vocal performance and interesting visuals. Great songs and beautifully dressed without being vulgar.

Lorde was great! The sound and lighting we're wonderful, and I loved the age diversity in the crowd. It's so great that an artist like her is an icon for young girls. Lady has class!!!
Unforgettable show!!
by ScarletJupiter on 9/21/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5From watching Lorde on the Grammys, where she seemed a bit awkward, I worried that the concert might feel the same. Fortunately for us all, she has come out of her shell since the awards and put on an amazing show! She interacted with the crowd and really made an attempt to connect with us all. I would go a see her again everyday if money permitted.

Lorde was phenomenal, best concert I've ever been to! Majical Cloudz opened which was such a great start to a great show. The venue was also spectacular!
Lorde in Raleigh -- Made my year!
by Java55 on 9/21/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5For those who may have missed it, Lorde's performance at Red Hat Amphitheater was absolutely awesome -- best I've seen in this area for years, and I love the way Ella connects with her fans as well. Interestingly, I first heard her hit 'Royals' about a three quarters of a year before anyone here in the States knew who she was and had been following her journey to stardom ever since. I knew she was really going somewhere ever since she stepped in for Frank Ocean (who was ill at the time) to perform before a sell out crowd of about 25,000 at Splendor in the Grass, a three-day Australian festival, and with rave reviews from there things just took off in a big way. ...and finally I was able to enjoy her performance live here in Raleigh - Imagine that. Made my year! :)
