Lorde is a Grammy-winning artist and cultural force, known for her genre-defying sound, introspective lyricism, and striking creative vision. Since her breakthrough with Pure Heroine in 2013, she has redefined the contours of modern pop--merging poetic storytelling with minimalist, emotionally resonant production. To date, she has amassed over 18 billion global streams and 18 million album sales worldwide.
In April 2025, she returned with What Was That, her first original release in four years. The single debuted to widespread acclaim and commercial success, hitting #1 on Spotify in the US -- her first US #1 on the platform since "Royals." Lorde’s Melodrama performance was amazing. My teen son and his friend enjoyed it from beginning to end.
Lots is energy and her music is great! The whole arena was dancing.
Great performance by Lorde, she played all her hits and all my personal favorites like Ribs, Royals, Homemade Dynamite to say a few. The hip hop act Run the Jewels also brought the house down with their performance and Mitski was a great opening act.
Lorde was truly spectacular!!! She performs with so much emotion and passion
Lorde was very impressive (!), much more so than the overall show. I didn't care for either opening act, I assume a locally-known Boston band and a hip-hop-dj black/white duo that did sets that lasted about an hour and a half. Both acts were obviously geared to a young crowd and were quite effective......Lorde didn't step on stage until 9:00. She has a very strong distinctive voice and stage presence. She's only 20 or 21 but performs like she's 31 or even 41. She shows that much maturity on stage and is great at relating to and working the audience. Lots of energy and intensity. She's not a dancer, but she has decent moves and uses the stage very well, though her movements became a bit repetitive and predictable - but the audience ate it up. I thought the show was definitely "over-staged" The dancers that backed Lorde or surrounded her were good, but totally unnecessary, and the glass-enclosure or box in the background that was raised or lowered was an interesting effect but not needed. I know that dancers and stage effects are sometimes used to enhance a performer who lacks confidence or stage presence.....or to lend artistic interpretation.....but I would have preferred just Lorde on stage. She didn't need all the extras. I know in the past she has expressed a severe stage fright in front of large crowds, but she's apparently worked past it. The crowd loved her, and it was a nice final touch when she left the stage and went to the barrier separating her from the audience and shook hands and hugged several fans......
Simply phenomenal! Her vocals, minimalist stage/production, and wonderful music all made this performance unforgettable. I hope she doesn't take too long to release another album :)
lorde was absolutely amazing and her two openers were great too!!! it was my first concert and even bough i was in the nosebleeds i was absolutely thrilled through the whole thing, she's a great performer and i'd recommend her to like.... anyone who likes music tbh
one of the best concerts i’ve ever been to. u will leave believing in god
Lorde was amazing! It was an excellent live experience. She was energetic, engaging and made you feel like you were her friend.
Lorde our onan amazing show. She is very talented.
Lorde is such an amazing dancer and singer and put on a great show. The TD Garden is great too!
our lorde and savior rose a day early i love that woman
If you're over the age of 25, you will feel ancient at a Lorde concert, but it's worth it. There were two openers, Mitski and Run the Jewels. My friend loved Mitski, while I enjoyed the heck out of Run the Jewels. Lorde was great. She's just so genuine and an amazing performer and singer. I wish I had seen her on the Pure Heroine tour, as I prefer smaller venues for concerts.
Amazing! Fun mother/daughter concert. We love her!!
Grate show +2 bonus songs. Yeah yeah yeah feeling good on a Wednesday
I knew going in that Lorde was gonna bring it but I wasn’t prepared for how good it really was gonna be. The energy of the show was so great and her lights were on point. Her stage banter was endearingly awkward and overall it was just a great experience
If you get the choice to see Lorde live you better! she gives the best live performance and visuals I have ever seen and nothing was more magical than when she performs Green Light the energy in the room is something unforgettable.
This concert completely exceeded my expectations. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been too and that’s saying a lot for me! It was so good I’m flying to Canada to see her again this summer! Definitely go if you have the chance!
Openers included Mitski and Run the Jewels, neither of which impressed me. That said, most around me seemed to enjoy Run the Jewels, just not my cup of tea. I tapped out of rap duos in my 20s. Mitski was hurt by venue and sound control. Her music is better suited to smaller venues I think. Couldn't hear her voice over the music well enough to make out anything of substance. Lorde was spectacular, vocals were excellent. Music volume and mix were great. Set list was awesome. Show was high energy and entertaining, if not also a little out of place for arena viewing. Arena shows tend to be larger scale productions and this one isn't, but that doesn't mean it was bad, just seemed understated for such a large venue. Lorde is a must see. Beautiful New Zealander on a US tour? Yes please.
