About

Lorde is a Grammy-winning artist and cultural force, known for her genre-defying sound, introspective lyricism, and striking creative vision. Since her breakthrough with Pure Heroine in 2013, she has redefined the contours of modern pop--merging poetic storytelling with minimalist, emotionally resonant production. To date, she has amassed over 18 billion global streams and 18 million album sales worldwide.

In April 2025, she returned with What Was That, her first original release in four years. The single debuted to widespread acclaim and commercial success, hitting #1 on Spotify in the US -- her first US #1 on the platform since "Royals." It also landed at #3 in the UK and #5 globally, reaffirming her place at the forefront of pop music.

  • Lorde at The Wang Theatre, Bostkn

by Hypnovista on 4/15/22Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The opening band was entertaining. Lorne’s set began with some technical difficulties. Lorde’s mike was malfunctioning. She took it in stride and went off-stage to search for help. The rest of the show was choreographed and polished. All in all a great show and one of the most back-to-normal shows I have seen in the last 2 years.

  • Greatest show of my life

by Hayley on 4/15/22Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Lorde is a person who is truly doing the exact thing she was put on this earth to do. She was phenomenal in Boston and seeing her in such a small venue felt like the greatest treat ever. Still buzzing from the show and can’t wait to see her again!!

I don't think I will ever be the same person after this concert. I can't believe we are just expected to go out and live our lives the same way after this transformational experience.

  • Brilliant!

by Another Sarah on 4/11/22Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

LORDE is brilliant but I’m a kiwi so I’m biased. Show is absolutely worth it, she mixes old songs and her new album. Loved it!

  • Amazing Show

    by Tryad E on 4/9/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Meridian Hall Toronto Saw Lorde on her first night back and she did not disappoint. We had two friends who really hadn’t heard much of her music but left fans for sure. Great mix of new and old songs on the set list. The audience was full of energy and Lordes voice and performance were flawless. Highly recommend seeing the show.

  • Amazing as Always

Lorde does not disappoint at her shows, and Remi Wolf was also incredible!

  • Surreal

by Joshua on 4/6/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing Lorde live was a dream come true. The energy the exudes from this woman on stage is something that I believe any true Lorde fan needs to experience. I will be seeing her again and I cannot wait for that day.

  • the best show

by miranda d on 4/6/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

lorde was amazing. this venue was perfect. I was among so many other people who love her so much and I just had the best time. as a friend described it, "it was so intimate at this venue and it felt so much more purposeful that way" <3 until next time :)

  • The Grand Ole Opry ruined a great show.

by Lorde Lover on 4/6/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 1 out of 5

Lorde was amazing, the performance wasn’t what I have issues with. The venue was incredibly unprepared and not suitable for this event. Out of all the venues in Nashville the GOO should have been able to facilitate a good show. The venue had 1 gate into the parking lot accepting the 15 dollars they charged to park making the line just to park a 40 minute wait. Then the line to enter the building nearly a half hour after the doors opened snaked all the way back to the parking lot and was at a stand still until about 20 minutes before the show started. By the time we got to the front the opener was already playing. The venue was understaffed and there was only one merch table placed in front of the doors so at the end of the show, there was utter chaos trying to get in line for merch. Security guards were yelling at people to get in line when there was no line determined. They eventually had to get people to line up around the entire perimeter of the hallway just to get merch. I waited in line for an hour and 15 minutes only for the merch to be nearly sold out. With all of this considered, the most disappointing thing out of all of this was that the GOO didn’t allow confetti which is something Lorde is known for so for those of us who travelled to Nashville for the opening performance, we missed an integral part of the show. I was extremely disappointed and felt like I wasted my money on this show. I don’t think I’ll ever attend another show here for a big artist.

  • AMAZING.

by Sparks Smith on 4/6/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It's hard to put this experience into words. Lorde is SUCH a gifted performer. So much thought goes into every little thing about her albums/concerts. I thought Melodrama tour was one of the best concerts I'd ever been to, Solar Power EXCEEDED. Her choice of opening act (Remi Wolf) was PERFECT and probably one of the only opening acts I actually fully loved. Also, Lorde fans are some of the most wholesome people. A guy in my row bought us all popcorn/candy so nobody felt left out. Truly an amazing experience that I will remember forever!

  • Big (5) Star(s)

    by J. G. on 4/6/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

One of my favorite concerts I've attended. Remi Wolf is hands down the best opener I've ever seen, and truthfully one of the best performers. Her energy is infectious and just seemed thrilled to be on the stage. Her records don't highlight her vocal prowess. Her control, pitch, and power were astonishing, especially considering she was jumping and dancing throughout her entire set. Despite only being vaguely familiar with her music before the concert, I walked away feeling that if I had only been able to see Remi, the concert still would have been worth it. As for Lorde... the stage design was marvelous and stunning. Lorde doesn't use backup dancers, but each song was accompanied by a unique lighting setup, her bandmembers serving as a sort of backdrop tableau, and the enormous sundial on the stage kept the concert's theme coherent throughout the set. Speaking of the setlist, I expected it to be much shorter and was pleasantly surprised when she performed almost the entirety of both Solar Power and Melodrama. The way she divided the show into thematic acts with costume changes and gleeful banter allowed for three albums that are sonically dissonant to meld into a seamless show. Lorde's vocals were clear and powerful throughout the performance and her energy and joy to be back on the stage was palpable. My only complaint was that they did not prepare for the demand for merch. I waited throughout the 30-minute break between Remi and Lorde and hadn't even made it halfway to the front of the line. I waited for 40 minutes after the show to get merch and by then much of the stock was sold out. I still got a shirt; I'm still thrilled with the outcome, but if you want merch on this tour I suggest you show up to the venue as soon as it opens and immediately get in line so you'll have your pick of merch.

  • Here Comes the Sun

by Alex B on 4/6/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The Solar Power Tour was a return to form for Lorde. I've been a fan of hers for years, and you can truly tell how happy she is to be out and touring again. The show had a phenomenal setlist, the visuals and stage design were great, and the vocals were strong as ever. Although the Solar Power album was met with mixed reactions, this tour is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

  • a night in nashville I’ll never forget

by jules on 4/6/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

lorde herself put on an incredible show! there was high energy from the crowd throughout the set and there were almost equal songs performed from melodrama and solar power. the only complaint I have is the grand ole opry staff was very rude to fans and highly unprepared for this show. from letting us in 30 minutes after doors because of a ticket scanning issue at the venue to belittling her fans outside the venue after the show.

  • Intimate Show and Venue

by ckammerer on 4/6/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Arriving to the venue was very easy, including entry being expedited with simple security and ticket checks. The merch line was only in 1 spot which caused a lot of traffic. My party was able to head to our seats and get food on the way, which was amazing as the immediate area around the venue had very limited food options. The show was amazing with an intimate feel. We traveled to Nashville from Atlanta for the show as it was the closest show. Seeing the beginning of the tour and all of its surprises was amazing, if only we could go again!

  • and then the Lorde said…
