About

Lorde is a Grammy-winning artist and cultural force, known for her genre-defying sound, introspective lyricism, and striking creative vision. Since her breakthrough with Pure Heroine in 2013, she has redefined the contours of modern pop--merging poetic storytelling with minimalist, emotionally resonant production. To date, she has amassed over 18 billion global streams and 18 million album sales worldwide.

In April 2025, she returned with What Was That, her first original release in four years. The single debuted to widespread acclaim and commercial success, hitting #1 on Spotify in the US -- her first US #1 on the platform since "Royals." It also landed at #3 in the UK and #5 globally, reaffirming her place at the forefront of pop music.

  • Solor Power in Chicago 2022!!!

by SteveO on 4/26/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The Chicago Theater is a beautiful place to have a show. Its not very big so you wont find a bad seat. 2nd time I seen Lorde and she did not disappoint. She picked some great songs from all 3 albums. Lorde also did a few hair flips and her awkward dance moves. That was awesome!!! Love to see more of it.

  • wonderful

by bella on 4/26/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was amazing. Every single seat had a great view. Lorde’s performance and stage presence was amazing and the small venue meant that everyone really loved her music.

  • One of the Neat Concerts I’ve Been to!

by sombritos on 4/26/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The whole experience was amazing! I’m actually Lorde chose to choose smaller venues compared to larger ones. People were singing their hearts out every singe Lorde sang! It was beautiful! The Chicago theater was beautiful and elegant area! Would definitely come back to the theater or see Lorde again! Definitely recommend everyone to see her and visit the theater!

This was the first concert I had been too since the pandemic started, and it did not disappoint!! Not only were the sets and costumes amazing, but it was such a surreal feeling to have everyone around you scream their hearts out to 'Supercut' and 'Ribs'. I highly, HIGHLY recommend!!!

  • Amazing Show, Bad Venue 😂

by Liz on 4/24/22Grand Ole Opry House - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Okay first of all of course Lorde was amazing live!! Literally ethereal!! However, the grand ole Opry dropped the ball for sure. 1. They supposedly didn’t open doors until 30 minutes before the event. 2. There was only one merch table in a crowded hallway which led to a line that I waited in over and hour and a half and missed the first two songs of the show (,: and the worst 3. Apparently it is the venue’s policy to have no recording or pictures of the show. What?? This isn’t a “grand ole Opry” show this is a mainstream concert that people paid tons to attend! Staff harassed me, my friend, and all of the rows visible to them and told us we couldn’t record anything. I unfortunately was very visible to staff so I couldn’t enjoy recording the show without the risk of being harassed. Additionally, a staff member stood in the stairs at the top of my row giving dirty looks and pointing to my friend who was below me in the middle of a row bc she went ahead and recorded a ton ( as she should!) It was honestly hard to enjoy the show as the employee was right beside me being so rude and sketchy. I also saw an employee plug their ears at one point when the crowd was cheering, which seemed unprofessional as they could just invest in earplugs. Overall, I think the grand ole Opry needs to either hire event staff or retrain their own staff on how to handle larger mainstream acts if they are going to continue to host them! If the Solar Power tour was like this I literally can’t imagine how they are going to handle the Sour tour in may lol.

by Randi on 4/23/22The Met Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Lorde put on an amazing show. Took time to talk to the audience and the set design was so fitting. The staff was nice and they kept long lines moving quickly. Would definitely see her again.

  • Engaging

by Reznorisms on 4/23/22The Met Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Lorde has an amazing rapport with the audience. One of the most engaging live performances. Brilliant singer/artist. And not at all hard on the eyes. Super-sensual. Thoroughly enjoyed the show even though I’m not a huge fan of her later work. Solar Power, baby!

by user6274828 on 4/23/22Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was absolutely amazing! The best venue for a concert (RCMH in NYC). I can’t wait to go to my other Lorde concert later this year!!! Ella is the best and made sure everyone had a great time

  • Wonderful concert for newbies and longtime fans

by Miguel on 4/23/22Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Remi Wolf is a spitfire and was a great opener with her material and a spirited cover of Piece of My Heart (Janis Joplin); Lorde clearly showed her appreciation to her longtime fans with both the hits and new songs in a unique etherial staging

  • Heartfelt and Theatrical

by MJB on 4/22/22Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Lorde is simply so heartfelt and puts so much thought and love into her production. Amazing Setlist (and no shushing) and the vibes were immaculate.
