Great night for the family- but eat before you go
by TheMom on 2/25/24Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 4 out of 5My family loves going to see local sports teams. Always a lot of fun and engaging. Thr LI Nets are no different. The talent is impressive, but the game is broken up with lots of entertainment like the nets dancers and the kid's dance team. Our game was against Mexico City Capitales and the half time entertainment was a mariachi group. Loved it. Wished I would have gotten to see it. I waited in line for the only open concession stans in the joint for more than 45 minutes. Then I forked over $80 for just a few things. My suggestion is to eat at home before you come!

Nothing was economical... but come on...it was a G League Game. Food was way overpriced and honestly not worth it. We had to throw the hotdog out bc it didnt taste right-7.50 for a hotdog or pretzel is a bit outrageous. Merchandise-overpriced. Not much cheering going on. They tried to have a kids fan/entertainment section but nothing was promoted.

I was a member of a group event and needed to purchase an additional ticket at the last moment. The ticket I purchased from Ticketmaster was a ticket I already had in my Position. So I had two tickets for 1 seat! The Coliseum took care of it. However the section was oversold and people in our group had to be moved.

The free parking is fantastic and the venue is always clean.The seats are great no matter where you sit. We didn't get any food or drinks at the game because of the inflated prices, but even without the snacks we had a great time. Considering season tickets.
