About

LOCASH IN CONCERT:

Country duo LOCASH is all about having a good time and celebrating life, and their infectiously optimistic live performances are the perfect excuse to kick up your heels and let loose. In concert Chris Lucas and Preston Brust are all smiles, tearing through boot-stomping hits like "I Love This Life" and "I Know Somebody" with tons of feel-good energy while fans sing along. The pair's music is made for dancing – they cut their teeth as club DJs at a Nashville saloon, and the booty-shaking mix of pop, hip hop, and country they spun back in the day has closely influenced their beat-heavy sound. The duo really knows how to put on a show – Chris gets fans howling with his hilarious impersonations of famous singers, and Preston ventures out into the crowd to cut a rug with ticket buyers. It's a rollicking country party any time LOCASH takes the stage, and their fun-loving sets always leave fans wanting more.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Nashville-based Chris Lucas and Preston Brust have been making music together as LOCASH since 2004, but things really picked up in 2010 when they scored their first hit "Here Comes Summer." The single's success turned heads in Music City, and soon the pair was penning songs for big names including Keith Urban (2011's "You Gonna Fly") and Tim McGraw (2012's "Truck Yeah"). They released their self-titled debut album in 2013, cracking the Top 40 on the Country and Indie charts before hitting the road for extensive touring. Audiences loved their upbeat, feel-good performances, and their growing fanbase helped them score their first Top 10 hit in 2015 with "I Love This Life." LOCASH's rise continued in 2016 with their sophomore album The Fighters, a Top 20 triumph on the country charts that featured the No. 1 hit "I Know Somebody."

I have seen Locash a time or two in the past but this show was the best by far. Not only were they able to get the crowd engaged by singing and clapping but the individual performances were flawless. Also, the staff at the venue were friendly making one feel like they were in a safe environment where they could be themselves. I hope they bring Locash back time and time again!

by RRigdon on 12/29/148 Seconds Saloon - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

LoCash came out red hot and the excitement never left. Played all their original songs, covered a few songs, and also played "Truck Yeah" which they wrote for Tim McGraw. One of the best performances I have seen.

The LoCash Cowboys concert was just outstanding. I love their music, but seeing them live was just amazing! I couldn't ask for a better performance. You can tell that they both love entertaining the crowd. I wouldn't hesitate to attend more of their concerts - I actually have already been online seeing when they will be close to Central Illinois again!!

I love LoCash! This was not my first time seeing them but I took a group of people for my sister's birthday...the few that questioned how good they are were hooked by the third song and enjoyed the night very much! We love them and 8 Second Saloon is excellent also! Always have fun there.

by DustiPaynter on 1/5/148 Seconds Saloon - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I attended the New Year's Eve party at the 8 Second Saloon. The meal was good, the music prior to the concert was good, and the band was Awesome! We really enjoyed ourselves, the only small gripe is they did not take the stage until 11pm, but dinner was at 6pm....made for a really long night and by 12:30 these two old folks were worn out!

  • C-O-U-N-T-R-Y!!

I absolutely LOVE LoCash! I was introduced to this band in Osage, Iowa a few years back with my sister-in-laws, and now we go to see them every time they are in MN, WI, or IA! I love them! They put on an awesome show! Even if you don't really like "country", you will love them! They rock the stage! Their songs are great! TRUE ENTERTAINERS! The band is very personable and they really do LOVE their fans! July 8, 2011, was my 30th birthday and LoCash was in Cedar Falls, IA...so my sisters, sister-in-laws, and myself headed down! Before the concert, Chris came out and was chatting with us, took pictures with us, and even showed us pics of his family on his phone. Then when the concert started (of course we were right in front, we ALWAYS are)...they let everyone know that it was my birthday! Then they sang me "let's get it on", gave me a drum stick, and a cover poster (that we had them autograph later)! We all hung out after the concert and had more pics with Preston & Chris! I will NEVER forget that birthday and I will always recommend them to everyone to go see!

Definitely a must see band for any country fan. They know how to get the crowd going and play a good mix of originals and covers.

  • 8 seconds and Locash equals awesome.

by Bplover on 4/8/128 Seconds Saloon - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

The venue is always fun, you can play pool and still see and hear the band, or you can be right next to the stage and not have your ear drums blasted out. The ticket prices are very reasonable the drink prices aren't to bad. You do need to remember though if you are the DD to ask for tap water or they will charge you for a bottled water, 3 bucks! Locash is always fun, great music and fantastic show. They not only get you involved but they also have great banter moments between each other. If you have never seen them, do it, do it right now! If you have never been to 8 seconds, do it, do it well when ever you can.
