About

The world-class Liverpool Legends Beatles Tribute Show comes to the new Beatle themed Starlite Theatre.  Liverpool Legends received the coveted Best Show and Best Band awards in Branson for the past two years but they also stand alone as the only Beatles Tribute to have a direct, biological connection to the original Fab Four. This is thanks to, Louise Harrison, sister of the late George Harrison of The Beatles. Louise is truly "one of a kind" as she is the only Beatles sister. Louise will share fond memories of her preeminent role in the early years of her "Baby Brother's Band" when she appears with her hand-picked Liverpool Legends at the Starlite. You will be transported back to the Ed Sullivan Show, the psychedelic Sgt. Pepper era and Abbey Road by these incredible musicians and actors who perfectly perform live the music that rocked the world. All ages LOVE this show because the music of The Beatles not only changed the face of rock-n-roll forever but their message of love and peace which is woven throughout their songs transcends all ages and lives on as if it were written for today!

    Get Your Ticket to Ride

by Rickenbacker on 7/13/09The Starlite Theatre - Branson

I work in the music business and am impressed by the musicianship of this look-alike\sound-alike foursome. All the instrumental and vocal music is produced by the "Fabricated Four" live on stage. Additional music (synth strings, horns, etc.) is ably played by a keyboardist who looked a bit out-of-place on stage. The live concert is enhanced by video footage of the Beatles. Some will be familiar (Ed Sullivan Show etc.) while other clips are more rare. One bit is from home movies of George (before the Beatles first U.S. tour) visiting his sister who lived in Midwestern U.S. In fact, George's sister, Lou Harrison, is integral to the production and before the second act, she fields audience members' questions from the stage. One brief "American flag-waving" departure seems an odd choice for a Beatles tribute. But I'm told that, in Branson, "patriotic infused" shows are the norm. On the whole, it is a tight show full of Beatles hits, played live by solid musicians. Now shake it up, baby!

    Liverpool Legends: Outstanding Act!

by Hudster on 7/13/09The Starlite Theatre - Branson

I took my sweetheart to see the Legends of Liverpool for her Birthday. She said it was the best Birthday of her life! The Legends of Liverpool were every bit as good at performing many of the Beatles hits as they did themselves. They all are excellent singers and musicians.

    Very Disappointed

by roadtripper on 7/13/09The Starlite Theatre - Branson

My wife and I saw this show back in May. I consider myself a pretty big Beatles fan, although certainly not a fanatic. Unfortunately, the prefer the later stuff that they did, but the show really focuses on the very early stuff. The failed to play a number of great meaningful well written songs, instead focusing on the bubblegum stuff from early on, for instance Twist and Shout. Basically, in typical Branson fashion they refused to recognize the role that drugs and political leanings played in the lyrics of the Beatles. If you are going to have a Beatles tribute, I believe that it is necessary to acknolwedge ALL aspects of the band even those that may not fall in line with Branson's "family values." Also, the show is produced by George's sister, and the night we were there she spoke to the audience for about 30 minutes. Which could have been interesting; however, nothing that she talked about was remotely interesting. Instead she chose to invite to the church they have at the theater on Sunday.

The Closest Thing to a Real Beatles Concert!

by SpringfieldMO on 7/12/09The Starlite Theatre - Branson

The Liverpool Legends were absolutely fantastic. Not only did they have the look and the sound, which would have been amazing enough (and they had those down to a "t"), but they obviously have done many hours of homework studying Beatles films, as they had the little mannerisms down pat! The cocky, gum-chewing, bow-legged John Lennon character was unbelievable. The McCartney character even played bass left-handed. And all of the characters came out to the lobby after the show to meet with the viewers and sign autographs - they obviously understand how that effort can turn a viewer who attended and enjoyed the show into a raving fan. They were very personable and very polite gentlemen - very reminiscent of the early Beatles.

    Liverpool Legends was totally groovy!!!

by SonsFirstConcert on 7/11/09The Starlite Theatre - Branson

This is a wonderful show and I would recommend it for all ages. I sang along with all the songs, I even closed my eye and they sounded just like the Beatles. My children really liked it and my teenage son changed his screen saver to a 'Yellow Submarine' image. My youngest son who is autistic really enjoyed the performance and loved going up by the stage to dance. He also loved the bubbles machine during the song Yellow Submarine. Liverpool Legends truly are the best I have ever seen or heard. They all had great personalities, were joking around on stage like the Beatles did, they changed their looks/outfits several times from the early Beatles to the later Beatles. Most of all you could tell they really loved what they are doing. They play the instruments and sung the songs. There was no lip syncing or pre-recording during the performance. I would highly recommend attending a 'Liverpool Legend' performance if you have the opportunity. You will really have a wonderful time.
