  • It was an amazing evening!

by Concert Junkie on 11/12/25Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I hadn't seen Live Dead and Brothers before. It was much better than I had hoped for. The music was great and the vibe in the audience brought back so many memories. The only thing that was off is "What are my Grandparents doing at this show?"

The show was very good. They play a great verity songs from the Greatfull Deab and the Allman Brothers, also a little Santana. The Au-Rene Theater was a perfect place for to has this show. My wife and I really enjoyed the show.

The musicianship was outstanding. The energy of each song layered upon layer and building the crescendo of each song was masterful.

  • Great songs deserve a great band, this is it

by Adam on 8/29/25Rating: 5 out of 5

6/14/25 Live Dead & Brothers played a great show jamming mostly Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers Band tunes with expert chops and proper pedigree. The band includes members of Bob Weir & RatDog, Phil Lesh & Friends, and a son of the original Allman Brothers Band bassist (Berry Duane Oakley, the younger dude on the bass). With Steve Kimock's blazing guitar skills it was a great night of music. We had a great spot on the rail with some fun people. An added bonus was the VIP early entry to the soundcheck for a group of only 8 fans. It was fascinating listening in on the banter while the guys reviewed song starts, confirmed key changes and worked on a few grooves. It was a fun show in a great room.

  • A great renewal

by JB on 9/30/24Empire Live - AlbanyRating: 5 out of 5

I attended the Dead and Brothers show Friday at Empire Live in Albany NY. It was a great show start to finish . The music was fantastic and the players are all old school, accomplished people in the trade . If you get a chance I recommend going to this show!

  • the best

by dana on 4/27/24Rating: 5 out of 5

first song brought new life to uncle johns band. very small venue. intimate setting with a band who all enjoyed playing together. theyhad a great vibe with the audience. the dead jams were fresh and not note for note copy. easy to getyourhead lost in the spacy music. it was as i remember the early years of dead concerts absolutely beautiful guitar interplay on the allman bros songs. we were blown away by theirmasterful musicianship andwill go again given the chance.

  • Disappointed

by Disappointed on 4/24/24MGM Northfield Park - Center Stage - NorthfieldRating: 1 out of 5

When the band performed a song they were enjoyable but each song was an extended jam session. I can only remember 2 identifiable songs: Truckin and Crossroads. My expectation of a cover band is that they play the most popular songs. We left in the second set.
