From her early days of YouTube stardom (she has 14 million subscribers on the platform, and over 3 billion views) to performing on world stages, the California artist has captivated audiences both on and offline since 2007. Stirling’s live shows consist of various trapeze/lyra devices and stunning performances on her electric violin, and she has become known for her Christmas-themed tours around the holidays. • Sick violinist and sick show

by Detroitgirlfromthesuburbs on 6/11/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

The doors opened late, and only half the people where in by the advertised 7:00 pm show time. The opening act finally came on at 8:10, played 20 minutes and were gone. Thank god- - they weren't very good. It took 5 minutes to break down the set, but Lindsey still didn't come on until after 9 pm. She did about 20 minutes of music, with a Lady Gaga take off, which was OK. Her light show is very good and interesting, but her playing seemed to lack something. During the break she talked with her drummer and we found out she was very sick, and trying to put a brave face on the whole show. The playing didn't get much better after that. Also, The parking around the Masonic is pretty poor, just not enough open lots for all the people.

  • 5 stars for talent, entertainment and originality

A dancing violinist that oozes talent and originality. Don't miss her if you have the opportunity!

  • Lindsey Stirling is amazing!!!

by Anonymous on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Such an unbelievably talented artist, she is amazing live!

  • Lindsey Stirling is Pure Energy!

by JJEnergy on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The entire set flowed with energy! Very much appreciated that she performed with a vanishing voice. Sure she isn't a vocalist primarily, but I certainly don't like to work when I feel under the weather.

  • She's better in person

by Shownewbie on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

All I can say is that the show was beyond awesome. I will buy tickets to see her when ever she is in town. If you thought she was good on youtube... see her live. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

DIA FRAMPTON! BEST OPENER EVER AMAZING VOICE. WOWIE

  • Lindsey Was Great, The Masonic Temple Not So Much

by Rasko on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

Great sound, great light show and backing videos. Lindsey is a real trouper, fighting ill health to give the fans a great show. The Masonic Temple employees behaved like this was the first concert they had ever hosted. We parked across the street, yet needed to wait 60 minutes in lines to get to our seats! Unacceptable. Employees blamed guests "all showing up at the same time" and other employees who did not show up for work that evening. We will NEVER go to the Masonic Temple for a show again.

  • Great show, liquor prices were outrageous.

    by Schilds85 on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

She puts on a good show. Seats were great, sound was good. Liquor prices were absurdly high.

  • Lindsey Stirling was just amazing!!

    by PrincessLily8402 on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey Stirling was amazing. I never knew that violin could be so sexy and exciting. She danced all over the stage and the music was pulsing. Absolutely an amazing show! Can't wait to see her again!

  • Lindsey stirling was wonderful!

    by Alicia48706 on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

Great artist and great show. One of the best concerts I've ever been to . The masonic temple was beautiful but was not organized. There was one door to enter and exit.. And when I say one door I mean one spinning door. Out tickets said the even started at 7. We got there at 5. Was not allowed inside to even use the rest room. The even actually started at 8 and a 40 minute intermission between opening act and lindsey stirling. We had to leave early to avoid being trampled out the one door.

  • Awesome show

by LidiP on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

  • Lindsey Stirling put on a show to remember!

    by T2boneBBQ on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

I had never heard of Lindsey so I was totally amazed by her talent and energy. Four days later and I can't stop listening to her CD's. Bravo! The Masonic Temple was also a first and I loved it.

  • by maggiepie2013 on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

Lindsey is am amazing petformer and put on a wonderful show! The stage, musicians, and dancers were all outstanding performers. Masonic however isnt the most amazing place. The staff was rude and it was really unorganized. Masonic needs to look at their staffing, lack of customer service, and event planning. I will definitly go to see Lindsey Sterling again I'm hoping she is at a different venue but if the only place we get to see her is at masonic i will bethere.

  • Wonderful show

by webtechmom on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey Stirling knows how to put on a show and really provide entertainment to a diverse crowd. Loved the whole show and would go again. The opening act this year was much better than last year's. My only complaint was the venue--took us 40 minutes just to get into the building and to our seats, show didn't start until 8pm (tickets said 7, with doors opening at 6). The older building had two small doors for entrance and with security checking bags it took a LONG time to be seated.

  • Simply amazing

by punkz on 6/10/14Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Even fighting through a head cold and having no voice, she rocked it!
