I really love their new music, loved the beat and their sound.
Enjoyed the concert. Look and sounded the same. Thx for the great concert.
Lyndsey time after time leaves it all out on the stage continually giving 110% of his talent. Christine was as elegant as she has always been!
Opening band was so-so, but that all was forgotten when Lindsay and Christine came on stage! Wow! And whoever the drummer is was the best drummer I have ever seen. Outstanding!!!
A great mix of new duet songs and old staples from the F-M days. We loved it!!
she has a lot more to offer, he has always been incredible. disappointed that she did not do "songbird". only disappointment was the venue had too many people attending that did not appreciate a rock show. if I want to dance at a show or stand up to show my support or enthusiasm, that's what I will do.
Started off really slow and was getting concerend but livened up a bit after two or three songs. The new material from the album was good and suited their current abilities vocally but the older material showed up the changing age of the band. The only exception was the rendition of Tusk which showed the great guitar skills of Lyndsey Buckingham. I'm glad they are reproducing new material and I will be a purchaser but not sure if I would go to a concert again. The Smart Centre in Sugarland is now my favourite location, the acoustics were great and seat comfortable.
As excited as I was about this show I just couldn’t get into it. Music was extremely louder than vocals, couldn’t hear words most of the time. Video boards weren’t on so that was a huge bummer too. One positive note, Lindsey sure can still rock it on a guitar!!
A great selection of tracks from the old to the new. Starting with Trouble the concert was unbelievable. Including Tusk was fantastic. Of course they played from their new album. After the concert my wife, who is picky, said she wanted the new album. Recommend the concert and the album and anything Lindsey does.
The actual concert was great. Lindsay and Christine sang some of the old songs and a lot of new ones. Lindsay is still one of the best guitarists in the world. The whole thing would have been a little better at a slightly lower volume. Whoever had control of the sound system must be deaf. I am and I was still overwhelmed at the loudness and I was in the balcony. Those people down near the front are probably still hearing the concert days later. They will be deaf if they go to anymore concerts that are this loud.
Was wonderful to hear and see McVie again. Show consisted of mostly new material, which was good music. BUT after being away sooooo long, wish McVie had been able to sing lead in more songs. Lindsey unfortunately was focused on playing and selling the new album. This was made apparent when towards the end of show, people were yelling out many different songs, and McVie was so sweet, and said, hey I can do this, But Lindsey just started and ended the show with a new song, I can not remember when a veteran act, performers and or music groups ended a show with a new song. Always a classic hit from first or second album thus rewarding fans from the beginning. Otherwise, was wonderful to hear Christine sing again. Sweet beautiful voice.
I am a huge Fleetwood Mac fan and was so excited when Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie released this album and decided to go on a tour together. I have seen Fleetwood Mac multiple times in the past...all of which have been in large arenas. The cool thing about the Moran Theatre is that the setting is more intimate being that it's a smaller venue. We had great seats near the front and their performance was spectacular!! It was so cool seeing some of my favorite musicians in such an intimate venue of which I had never experienced before. They totally delivered by singing a great mix of new songs from the album and some classic favorites. We had an absolute amazing time.
On one hand this was an amazing concert by two stars that work well together. The old music was done very well. I loved the new stuff too, but my husband, who has been a Fleetwood Mac fan for decades, was not impressed. I felt like it was a nice evening out with good music. He wouldn't have been sad to miss it.
music was good but volume was too loud for that size venue
The entire performance was great reminiscing the '70s. The only thing missing was Stevie Nicks, but not that important with the vast repertoire of Lindsey and Christi.
The duo from Fleetwood Mac are phenomenal together and worth seeing more than once. Lindsey is without a doubt one of the best guitar players in Rock and Roll history. Christine and him have written some more wonderful songs to add to their catalog of hits. When they play I'm So Afraid, be prepared for the magic from Lindsey on guitar and feel the excitement he generates throughout the audience. This is a concert you do not want to miss.
This was a great concert. So good to hear both the old and new music. Lindsey Buckingham was amazing. Would go back again and again and again.
Christine being 74 years old and Lindsey being 68 really gave it 1000%. They still have it after all these years. Would love to see them again if they are in town.
they sure arent as good as expected, but then they are old
Excellent show as both were in good form both musically and vocally. I have always enjoyed Lindsey's guitar work and was not disappointed. Would highly recommend the show and look forward to seeing them in any format down the road.
