    Limp Bizkit was surprising entertaining

by nothinghead on 5/2/13Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Despite their relevance and the douchebag-filled audience that kept getting into fights, Limp Bizkit's performance was surprising very entertaining. They played both general radio hits and crowd-pleasers, with the exception of a few like the crowd-chanted-requested "Nookie". Singer Fred Durst asked for a lot of audience participation, getting certain fans on stage to singer improvised cover songs with him including Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit", some Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys and Rage Against The Machine.

Bizkit raw and Insane!! 2nd LB Show

by RawBizkit on 5/1/13The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

When I Saw Limp Bizkit Live At the Stone Pony this past monday on the 29 of april It was the unleash of fury for me of the stuff I had to get out of my system. I went nuts!! as soon as I saw otto, sam, fred & wes take the stage i was already In I got pushed and moved around a bit but i was pushing too just as much as other people were not doing it on purpose or nothing like that but It was amazing, and I was enjoying the music and such I did get moved around alot and also,I had to move away to different spots so I wouldn't be crushed as much. I wanted to get some pics but that was in the later half of the show & they didn't come out to good but heh I couldn't get up to the front. but in the beginning like when they played ready to go & the propaganda & the truth I got crushed and squeezed but as Limp Bizkit wen't further into the show it got really Intense/crazy when they did the classic songs and for me, I had to stand on my toes to get a good view because Iam short a few times but It was amazing I enjoyed every minute of it I wasn't expecting for them to play I'm broke tho thats the cherry topper for me as well as full nelson and stalemate as well as stuck. oh yeah I almost forgot counterfeit and yeah fred was teasing with the cover songs. the I think its Incredible that they played alot of the stuff I haven't heard before/heard the first time ever some of the songs ,from their past albums also from the last time I saw bizkit live which was a long time ago like 10 years for me which would have been 2003 and that was my first Bizkit show 10 years I was 16 when i first saw them at Krock DFP/Summer Sanitarium 2003 tour @Giants Stadium In East Rutherford ,NJ and now 10 years later i'm 26 year old adult and I got to see Limp Bizkit Tear It up And blow It out of the water for the 2nd time ,2nd show In a long time for me since Limp Bizkit was last present In the United States. I'm glad I got my tickets to this show when I did Because I didn't want to miss out on seeing LB Live and most of all I missed seeing LB live in a long time. but It feels like a godsend for me to be seeing them again, now since I have given Limp Bizkit a second chance and forgave them especially since, i know of what they all have went through being away for so long and stuff. Btw I was Thinking of lethal at the show even though he wasn't there of course. LB was Insane live and I went nuts ,had fun and I enjoyed the show had a great time and all. I hope I can see LB again later this year when they tour with black light burns the band wes Is in. I've been a Limp Bizkit fan for 13 years Limp Bizkit was the first band I ever got Into when I was 12 years old in 99 Signifcant Other was the first album I bought that got me Into LB ,didn't see them live until 2003 and now again in 2013 I'm grateful and I hope I see LB many more times live throughout this decade. If you haven't seen Limp Bizkit yet this year go see them while you can!! while there still touring If not for yourself than for LB because you don't know what you're missing and you don't know what you got until Its gone. - Truly Yours, A long Time Limp Bizkit Fan

Limp Bizkit brought back the 80-90s

    by LIzzy12345 on 5/1/13paramount - huntigton

I grew up listening to them from my older siblings. I am a much bigger fan of there older albums and that is exactly what they played. They played all their old hits even break stuff! Fred sang amazing and was extremely thankful for his fans and everyone played amazing. This was my first metal concert and honestly the crowd was massive it was great! I totally recommend this to anyone whose a massive fan of their old stuff. There were mosh-pits and great ones if you were interested i was in the front the entire time. Expect to head bang a whole lot.

The beat is back, ladies and gentlemen! Say what you will about Limp Bizkit, but these guys have always been able to rock it live. That being said, this new tour seems different. With them doing more intimate venues that they played when they were first touring the United States, the crowds really do seem like their die hard fans. The energy is off the walls, and over the years, my lord have they turned into one hell of a titanic live show. The crowd was on fire all night long, and no one member of the man can take sole credit. Fred Durst really is one hell of a front man. He made it a point to go to every spot of the sold out crowd multiple times, keeping every man and woman jumping for the nearly two-hour long set. He was also screaming again! Wes Borland really is a guitar God. Put aside the moment where he talked to me specifically and handed me his pick, the man can shred unlike any other, and he looked amazing. John Otto (drums) and Sam Rivers (bass) did their thing keeping the funk going that truly structures Limp Bizkit's sound. The only downside of the night was the absent DJ Lethal; that being said, DJ Skeletor did a bang up job himself. The night felt unique, too, in that Bizkit seemed to avoid most of their radio hits, and play primarily what they wanted to play and what the crowd on the night wanted to hear. This includes many songs from the first album, which had me pleasantly surprised. It was truly a show for the ages. The boys from Jacksonville rocked the house, and I can't wait to see them again.

    LB at the stone pony

by ozzyJ on 5/1/13The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

The Band played songs that typically they wouldn't touch on a big grand tour. They played heavy hitters amongst the old school fans.. leech, stalemate , it'll be ok , stuck, sour, counterfeit and I'm broke ! Even without Lethal the band had so much energy and sounded more raw ..

by rckaltlsue on 5/1/13The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

What can I say about these boys, except they do not disappoint ! It's been a long time since I seen them, having tickets to their last tour which ended up being cancelled, I was more than excited to finally see them in action again. The band looked and sounded great. And the place was packed.

    Awesomeness!

by Nicksessionz on 5/1/13The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

This show was great! Although the Stone Pony was a little to small of a venue for this type of show, everyone seemed to have a great time, and Limp Bizkit didn't miss a step. They played very few radio hits such as, Take A Look Around, and Break Stuff, but they made that up by playing other songs from their albums that weren't "radio hits", with songs including; Hot Dog, The Truth, It'll Be Ok, and opening with their new song Ready To Go (Fred Durst rapping Lil Wayne's vocals here as well). All in all, this was an amazing show with tons of energy from their fans. Whether you love or hate them, Limp Bizkit put on one of the best live shows than any band I've ever seen.

It was great and interactive. The only down side is that the venue was small and too crowed.

    Good but enjoyed better

by Cohart on 4/29/13Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

They were great but because I'm a fan. The venue was to small so short people, most women couldn't see. Way to hot, and being their first show on the US tour, you couldn't here Freddy's mic half the time. The sound could of been better. Over all it was good but if someone was picky like me maybe not.
