About

Lil Wayne in Concert

With four Grammys and eight consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard Rap Albums chart, the luster of Lil Wayne’s accomplishments as a rapper rivals the bling of his signature gold chains and grill. With the release of 2013’s I Am Not a Human Being II, Wayne landed four more singles on the Billboard Hot 100, edging out Elvis Presley to became the male with the most entries on the chart – a whopping 109 in total. Singles like “Love Me” and “No Worries” featured his characteristic use of Auto-Tune to create a highly melodic hybrid of rap and R&B, propelling the album to a No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200. After becoming the youngest member on Cash Money Records’ roster when he joined the imprint at age nine, Wayne rose to fame with his group Hot Boys before achieving success as a solo artist. His instantly recognizable sound has been honed over 11 studio albums and made famous by hits like “Lollipop”, “How to Love”, and “She Will”. On the road with 2 Chainz in 2013 for the America’s Most Wanted Tour, Wayne treated ticket buyers to his hit-filled live concert, serving it all up with a hearty side of swagger.

He is the best rapper alive!

by weezyfsidwell on 8/9/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Lil' Wayne should be considered the best rapper alive due to his many talents and sides that he portrays. Not only does, yes, rap, but he has a full fledge band where he participates in playing the guitar. I was very skeptical about seeing a rapper in concert, I felt that he would have most likely 10 other men on stage, but Weezy held his own and made the concert unforgettable.

by Kataayyy on 8/8/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Seriously best concert I have ever been to. I wish drake wouldn't have gotten hurt, because it probably would have also been amazing with him too. But I still had an amazing time and I recommend that everyyyoneee should go! (:

    Wayne is a beast!

by WeezyFan on 8/8/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

This was my first concert so I really didn't know what to expect. Of course I knew it was going to be amazing because it was lil wayne, but none the less I wasn't sure i would like it. It blew my mind! I was in the 4th row and it was terrific! Not only could you tell they were rappin their feelings but their emotions were on their faces! It was by far the best concert I could imagine. I wouldn't hesitate buying tickets to another concert. Highly recommended!

    Good time!

by Crush50 on 8/8/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

It was a really good show. Only reason it gets three stars is becuase Drake wasnt there do to his injury, and they had noone to replace him. Other than that it was nice. Wayne killed it of course. He gives us fans his all. Jeezy was raw. The rest were okay. Lebron made a guest appearance. I would recommend this show. If Drake would have showed. I would probably rate it at 5 stars

    Weezy was astonishing

by ZMOPS on 8/8/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

I wasnt able to see soulja boy but what i heard from the lines was unbelievable. The first artist i saw was Young Jeezy, and i thought he was a huge disapointment. From lawn seats you couldnt see anything even on the big screens. They did not zoom in on him at all. Once Lil Wayne came out on stage it was a whole new show. He worked the crowd amazingly. I would recommend this show to a friend anyday.

    Way to many people

by MurtleM on 8/8/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

There was WAY to many people at this concert. The traffic was backed up for miles to get into Blossom. Leaving the grass area parking lot took 2 hours. I don't understand why they have one exit for 8 lanes of cars. I understand that it was a concert but there were so many people that at one point I couldnt even move even if I wanted to. The music was ok to. Lil Wayne was good but when he brought out these rappers that no one had ever even heard of, we were kinda like ughh what is he doing? The guest rappers weren't even good, not to mention it took Lil Wayne 30 min. before he finally got onstage. Not to mention that Drake couldn't even perform. Thats what I wanted to see the most. Overall I give the concert 3 stars.

    Lil Wayne Rocked It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Teerah on 8/8/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

This concert was hot like summer. I was really disappointed when I found out Drake would not be performing ( I found out in a decent amount of time so I was not that dissapointed ). Are you kidding me I was reeally upset but I eventually got over it!!! Lil Wayne has the heart of a lion and smile the illuminated the whole audience. It was truly awe inspiring. Songs like "Lollipop and "Every Girl" really had the crowd rockin. And when he sang "Mrs. Officer" I could have been carried right out of the venue. He was so comfortable on stage and performed longer than any of the other artist. Lil Wayne has the swag of a true street thug and the heart of a perfect gentleman. He paid respect to Michale Jackson and even rocked out on a guitar as if he were in a rock band. What a ROCKSTAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Lil' Wayne Saves The Show

by Kush84747474 on 8/7/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

The show was really good except for the fact that the young money kids were put into the final performance.....they should have been the first act out and young jeezy should have played where they performanced which was in the middle of waynes set.....that would have made the show amazing to have wane then jeezy a song together and then wane again

    Lil Wayne killed it

by JMB7 on 8/7/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Lil Wayne absolutely killed the it. He ranks right under Jay Z as best rappers Ive seen. Young Jeezy did his thing. Kinda pissed Drake didnt perform a whole set but he was injured. Missed other acts because of traffic. I would not recommend going to Blossom Music Center though. Traffic was back up for miles and you had to park like 2 miles from stage. Probably the worst venue Ive ever been too.
