The show was so awesome and funny. There was never a dull moment, we laughed from the beginning to the end.

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves from the start of the show to the end. Thank you for representing Chicago very well!! This show is definitely a must see when it’s aired!!

From Crucial Conflict performing “Hay” to recording an HBO Special in the iconic Chicago Theater. Lil Rel brought hometown to his Own Hometown!!! Delivering jokes and punchlines in that “Chicago Classic Roasting Rhythm” (iykyk) Took my family and I on a nonstop laughing “L” ride from the Westside all the way to the Southside and everywhere in between!!! I still can’t believe those tickets were FREE ninety nine!!!! Thanks Lil Rel for an AMAZING SHOW!!!! Keep Making Chicago Proud!!!

I laughed so hard Saturday. Lil Rel kept us laughing just by keeping it real. The comedy was from a pure and cultural perspective. We all knew where he was coming from because we all think the same way. I’m excited I was chosen to come see his live recording.

I absolutely LOVED THE OPENERS CRUCIAL CONFLICT.. IM A CHI TOWN NATIVE. LIL REL ENTRANCE WAS EPIC & HIS JOKES WAS REALLY FUNNY.. KEPT US LAUGHING BACK TO BACK.. HE DEFINITELY KEPT IT REAL

This was one of the best comedy show I've had a chance to attend in awhile. Lil Rel is a very funny comedian & I'll attend any of his shows if he's to come near the Chicago area again. This is a must see show and I hope Hbo will air it soon for others can join in on the laughter

It was a great experience overall! I expected to wait in line but it moved quickly, there were plenty of seats available. We got seats with a good view of the stage. I enjoyed the surprise performance by Crucial Conflict and Lil Rel had me in tears! I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. It was much needed. I’m glad I got to be part of it. I really enjoyed it!

I really appreciate the comedy show is was very calm and relaxing environment and the show was great

Could barely hear anything he said the whole time, didn’t help that I had people behind me storytelling like they wanted their own show too. Some of his material wasn’t very widely understood. People were coming and going throughout the set even though it was supposed to be closed due to the HBO taping and there were still people taking pictures and video. The last thing that I was shocked about was security, or lack there of. I went through the metal detectors and passed them my bag on the table. No one even looked inside…in this day in age wow…It was a fairly heavy bag too. Thankfully we were safe at the event though.

The show started on time but due to unforeseen traffic rerouting in Chicago, i arrived 15 minutes late. The place was packed with general admission for this live taping, leading me to park myself in the balcony. This inhibited my comedy viewing experience as a lot of the electric atmosphere was on the floor. Some jokes fell flat with me as the language was more adult and street. I expected a little something different but it was a decent time for me to get out. A group of people came into the balcony and lit blunts up in the balcony and passed it around to their party. That was an unfortunate situation as i love going out and being black and grown.
