BEST CONCERT EVERRRRR (first timing going to one)

by Silver Queen on 10/27/22Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

I love the theme, the opening, and the background visuals. LOVE the dancers they were amazing!! I had VIP tickets so I was up near the front of the stage and you can see how great the dancers and Lil Nas X choreography was. Favs are Bernard, Alex, and Amari, still love all the dancers tho each were amazing in their own way. I love how new songs were added, literally been listening to all the recordings I took at the concert. Also because of this experience I also found two of his unreleased songs from like a year ago, Anomaly and Empathy, and I just want to say to Lil Nas X please as a huge fan of your music and the person you are put these two songs in your next album!! These will hit #1 for sure but back to the concert it was magical! The outfits Lil Nas X was wearing were incredible and I was lowkey jealous like show me how to dress up cute like that. I also want to thank the producers for making Lil Nas X write the welcome note so genius like again thank you:) I give the concert a 9.5 out of 10 it was just a really nice experience, especially being my first one at the age of 21, shoutout to best friend for birthday gift VIP tickets much love. I wish I got merch but didn't get the chance to but there is always next time when ya do your second tour hopefully! Thank you again for coming to Arizona! Thank you again producers, dancers, writers, and best of all Lil Nas X :)

Montero was great; the venue not so much

by ATLhottie on 10/26/22Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

besides going on almost 2 hrs late (expected), Lil Nas X was great! However the venue is severely lacking: • the sound was muddy and garbly (too many concrete walls to bounce off?? or just old speakers?) • there should be huge screens on either side of the stage, showing the actual show – so the rest of us (floor level) could actually see ANYTHING besides the people in front of us… and some of the video projections onstage • while I expect exorbitant drink prices, $13+ for 1.5 oz of alcohol is crazy. How bout $8-9? The venue seems much more suited to a conference or seated event – no way I'll try to see any music there again!

Missed out because of Bill Graham curtains

by Nad D on 10/26/22Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

I wish I could give this 5 stars because Lil Nas X was amazing, his singing, dancing, and energy was 10/10. However, so many of us missed out on the beauty of the stage because the curtains at the Bill Graham center prevented us from seeing it. If they are going to do shows where the artist plans for an elaborate stage, they should be able to make it so the fans can actually see it. I hope to see Lil Nas X again (well, hear him again, see him for the first time) at a different venue.

    Unforgettable

by Milobytz on 10/26/22Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

If you're queer, Nas definitely makes you feel like you fit in. Everyone at the concert was awesome, I didn't see anyone shady or feel endangered at all. It was AMAZING!!!! S.O. to SonicFox, seeing the furries made me so happy. Really felt all inclusive. 10/10, I've been to few concerts but this was definitely the BEST one.

    Best concert

by Alex on 10/26/22Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

This was the best I ever went to. My best moment was during Sun Goes Down. During the event before the show I met some that seemed nice and was by himself like me. We enjoyed the concert together and it felt good being next to someone and having fun.

Commercial in the middle of the show? Really?

by Matt Z on 10/26/22Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Pluses: Dance show and video graphic were amazing! Minuses: sound was very bad, stage is very low, so when dancers and Lil Nas X were laying on the stage you can barely see what’s happening, no back up screens Commercial of Google in the middle of the show, really? For almost 70% of songs he didn’t sing, it was just his song, and sometimes he just opened his mouth pretending that he is singing 🤷 3/10

    OH MY MONTERO!!

by NAS 69 on 10/26/22Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Where to begin?!? I LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS PERFORMANCE SOOOO MUCH!! I do not think you can call this a concert. Lil Nas X went above and beyond, delivering an outstanding performance. I always appreciate when an artist can challenge themselves creatively in various aspects. Montero did not just sing, he participated in choreography and acting. Every single song he poured out his heart and soul. I felt the passion with his movements and heard it in his voice. DEAD RIGHT NOW is one of my favorite songs by Lil Nas X and being present in that atmosphere singing it live, was something so authentic and emotional. Singing along side him as an audience member was extremely special and something that will develop as nostalgia in the later months. To add on, I thought it was exquisite and stupendous that the structure of his performance followed a storyline. It was divided in three acts and the order of the songs had a heavy significance. When he brought some fans on stage to dance alongside him, it was something vibrant and something I wish I was lucky enough to be part of. It just displays how connected Lil Nas X is with his fan base. He genuinely cares about them and appreciates them. Overall, just euphoric and it had me desiring that this performance would never end!! I am still thinking about and I wish I could relive once more. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you Montero!! This was the best concert I have ever been to.

    The Montero Experience

by Zaid on 10/24/22Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

The concert itself and Lil Nas X was amazing! As far as security and the screening process to go into the venue was a complete disaster. Splitting up people into 2 lines, a bag line and non bag line was utterly ridiculous! People who had pit tickets were forced to wait for their friends who had bags and lost a chance at getting good pit spaces. My partner and I witness first hand a guy who passed out in front of us after the show The venue was very hot & had lack of clean air circulating. Security still had not shown up to assist the guy. We finally saw a security guy for help, he said “ I know,I don’t have a radio” How does a facility not have a medic on duty. In addition, not have enough radios for emergencies. Lucky we yelled for help & if there was a emergency personnel, a lady identified herself as a nurse & began to assist the guy & his female friend while she contacted his family. He passed out again & I assisted him up & help sit him to a seat. The venue needs to rethink and reorganize there policy and procedures as well as there health and safety of guest. As we exited to walk to where we parked, we heard sirens & hoping it was for the guy.

    Amazing???

by ash on 10/24/22Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

Everything was great. The music was really loud but not ear shattering, which was all I was worried about cuz I don't plan on going deaf soon, but yes it was amazing, I mean it was Lil Nas X what else would you expect.
