Nicely done. Even though the event was sold out (we bought advance tix), LEGO did not 'oversell' the event. Some of the stations had long lines but they moved relatively quickly. Did not have to wait in line more than ten minutes; most, much less. My two boys were engaged and entertained the entire time. If I'd had another free day, we would have bought tickets for another session.

    Great Lego Creations

by PrincessKT on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

The Lego Figures that had been created were amazing. There were serveal things that was totally worth the admission price for the kids. Nothing was for adults. When the parents participated in the games, they could not get a prize. All the kids did but no adults. Adluts should be able to be involved and get lego toys to. We play at home with our kids. The Adult tickets should have been cheaper if there was not participation form adults allowed. I think the whole exhibit was good but too many allowed at each time slot to see and do it all.

    Missed out on things....

by Momof2boyswholovelegos on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

This was a great event for kids who love LEGOs. However, I didn't know that there were events that were limited to only the first participants. (Building with the Brickmaster, which was limited to the first 130 kids was something we missed out on.) For the price we paid, I wasn't expecting to miss out on things....

    Awesome Time at Lego Kidsfest

by legovillagemom on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

If you have a Lego maniac or two in your home this is a must do event! There is something for every type of Lego enthusiast, young or not. Each type of Lego has it's own area and you get to experience all the types and learn more. The most popular event is a talk with a Master Builder, they help you think of new ways to create with Lego's. Free tickets need to be picked up when you arrive for scheduled show times. You leave with lots of posters and some Legos to add to your collection!

Lego Kidsfest is a great family activity for all ages who enjoy the many Lego options. The creation nation, Lego models, Chima activity, and building areas were favorites. A worthwhile special event that children will remember.

    Money well spent

by Anonymous on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

Took 7 year old Lego-loving son. He had a great time looking at all the creations, displays, etc. He enjoyed playing with the Legos and making some creations of his own. Even considering that we had to drive 4 hours to get there, it was still money well spent for the sheer enjoyment he got out of it. Lots of great memories for him. Took lots of pictures and have already printed a number of them out to make him a little album so he can relive the experience whenever he wants. Be sure to take your camera!

    Expensive Toy Store Visit

by ShameonMe on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

Neat to see the 3-dimensional lego characters when you first walk in, but after that, it's just a bunch of stations where you can build with Legos. Very frustrating when you're supposed to be making a particular character and they only provide a tenth of the pieces necessary. I thought they should have given you a free lego kit, maybe a "Hero" bag ($9.99, probably cost them a $1 to make) for the $20/person price of admission and $8 parking. The Chima area looked interesting, but the amusement-park-size lines were a deterrent, plus what they actually got to do (flip a little toy at a target) at the end of the line looked quite disappointing. We took our 6-yr-old son and after throwing a fit because there weren't enough pieces to make a Hero (unless you like them w/o legs, arms, and feet) we had to purchase two over in the "store" and then promptly left. Next time we'll just give him $100, go to ToysRUs and say have at it!

    Can't wait to go again!!

by Indianamom80 on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

My children loved the lego kids fest, and so did my husband and I. It wasn't too crowded and we never waited in line more than 10 minutes for anything. We were able to do everything we wanted in the 3 hours we were there. I really liked that they only sold a certain amount of tickets, so that it wasn't too crowded. We will definitely be going again.

Louisville Lego Kidsfest meant for smaller kids

by bionaut on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

We were a bit underwhelmed with the Lego Kidsfest that came to Louisville this past weekend (April 5-7). All the different Lego modules were represented there, but my kids (aged 14 and 11) got bored after being there for about a half-hour. We saw many smaller kids there, and they had a blast building all kinds of things.

My son was first in line to purchase his legos.

by RChaney on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

Overall it was great! However, it would have been perfect if the Master Academy Leader had visited my son and nephew's side equally. Nonetheless, we had a great time at the LegoFest on Friday.

    Lego Kidsfest was awesome!

by Mommy24681257 on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

My son loved it! We will definitely go back!!! Even though there were tons of people, everything was spread out. We had plenty of time to see everything. The staff members were very kind and helpful. It was a great day!!!

    Awesome time at Lego Fest!

by Tazlover3 on 4/7/13Kentucky Expo Center - Louisville

We had an incredible time! Kidsfest had so many fun activities, we couldn't do them all. The only thing I would recommend is making the sessions longer. (Charge more if you need to). We were there when it opened and didn't want to leave at closing!
