sounded great, but...
by cbusohio on 6/22/11The Basement - ColumbusLee Dewyze sounded great, but he was not friendly when not on stage. I was a huge fan when he was on AI from day one and was excited to finally see him live. The venue was very small and Lee walked right beside me before the show and I was too embarrassed to say anything. He walked with his head down and looked like he was trying not to make eye contact. I thought maybe he was shy so I thought he would say something if I talked to him first. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but after the show he walked right by me again and this time I said "awesome show" and held out my hand to shake his hand or pat him on the shoulder and he didn't even make eye contact or acknowledge me in any way. There were only a few people standing there and I was the only one who tried to say something to him--he just walked right past me like I didn't exist. Needless to say I was disappointed after he said so many times while onstage (and on AI) how much he loved his fans. He really came off as kind of a "snot". I don't know if I can even listen to his album again or even care what he does next...
