Leanne Morgan on Tour
A seasoned comedian with a uniquely Southern charm, Leanne Morgan tells stories that are as relatable as they are hilarious. It's no wonder audiences across America have connected so strongly to her funny, warmhearted and sometimes outrageous tales about juggling the demands of career and family, getting older, joining Weight Watchers for the seventh time and generally doing her best to raise her kids without going crazy.
Raised in rural Appalachia, Morgan was a stay-at-home wife and mother of three who caught the comedy bug while trying to entertain customers for her short-lived jewelry business. After honing her skills as an MC for events near her home in Tennessee, Morgan became one of the brightest new talents on the comedy scene thanks to appearances at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, a finalist spot for the Nick at Nite TV competition show The Search for the Funniest Mom in America and her performances with Southern Fried Chicks, the hugely successful all-female comedy tour.
Morgan has shared her homespun, family-friendly brand of comedy on Dr. Phil and The View. When not performing stand-up in venues all over the country both as a solo act and with Trish Suhr and Karen Mills on the Country Cool Comedy show, she's collaborating with Home Improvement writer-producer Matt Williams on a forthcoming sitcom of her own.
Who is Leanne Morgan?
Leanne Morgan's frank, funny and relatable comedy style is deeply rooted in her experiences growing up in rural Appalachia and being a wife and mother in her own bustling family in Tennessee and Texas.
After attending the University of Tennessee and becoming a mom, Morgan discovered a love of performing when she started a part-time jewelry business and realized she liked entertaining the customers best of all. With her lively, engaging wit, she soon found enthusiastic audiences beyond her community. Appearances at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and The View led to a breakout spot as a finalist on Nick at Nite's The Search for the Funniest Mom in America.
Morgan's three years with the top-grossing comedy tour Southern Fried Chicks and her many live and TV appearances with celebrity chef Paula Deen further increased her following nationwide. Appearing in venues across America, she continues to delight audiences with her tales of career, marriage and motherhood both as a stand-up solo performer and alongside Trish Suhr and Karen Mills on the Country Cool Comedy show.

Leanne was great! Her opening act was also good. Leanne is a great performer that makes you feel that she is only speaking to you. Very personal experience. Down to earth with witty humor. Capital one hall, not so much. Vax cards with masks? Why both? I have a feeling that was the reason there were several empty seats
This was an outstanding venue as well as show. It was worth the effort to make it despite weather and COVID!
Leanne is the absolute best! This is my second time to see her live and she just gets better and better (although I don’t know how). She is genuine, down to earth, no foul language and just clean fun!! I took my sister and BFF and we all laughed and cried non-stop. Her humor is completely relatable and just so “yummy”. Don’t miss it!!
If you have kids especially teenagers or grown this is for you. The only thing I can say negative is she talked at the audience and not to them.
Venue is very nice. Lots of space in the lobby and the seats are very comfortable. I really like that the parking garage is attached. Leanne & Brian had us all laughing which was much needed in todays world.
Sat in balcony and could hear very well. Seats so comfortable. Leanne was hysterical. She did an 1 1/4 hr show whereas we saw another comedian at Kennedy Ctr that only presented for 50 min
I’ve only heard Leeanne on FB, and I fell in love with her humor RIGHT AWAY!! We gals over 50 can all relate to the things she shares. But the very BEST part is that her language is CLEAN, no filthy talk! Just good, clean fun!!! The venue was great! Loved everything about it!!!
Went to the concert of Leanne Morgan on January 8th at 7 pm. I have never been to the Capital One Hall. It was beautiful. The staff on duty were fun and professional. Venue was sparkling cleaning! Just over all a very pleasant, entertaining evening.
My wife and Mother love her and I had never heard her before. The show was great and she was very funny. Great night I will definitely see her again
She was as good as I had anticipated and more! She is a must see! Opening act Brian baites was great too
Leanne is very funny and I had only see her on YouTube so I had no idea what to expect from a live show. Although she was extremely funny I felt the show did not flow very well. It seemed like she got off track quite a bit. Maybe that is part of their performance but it didn’t seem to flow very well to me. The show started late, around 4:15 and was over by 5:30 - with an opening act. Seemed a little short for the price of the tickets and in comparison to other comedians we have seen in the past. Very funny and an adorable personality but I wouldn’t pay to see her live again.
This lady is so funny! I love the way she incorporates her life into funny stories. I could listen to her all night long.
Both Leanne and Brian are sooooo funny! I want to see them again and again! They Hall was a great experience too! We are going back for another show this Friday since it was so great!
I've had the privilege of seeing Leanne twice on her Big Panty tour (Yes, she's THAT funny!). If you're seeing her in a large venue, I'd highly recommend that you spring for floor seats as close to the stage as possible. Since (many) comedians don't incorporate projection screens into their shows, your experience in balcony seats won't be as great. Aside from that tip, Leanne is hilarious and will leave you in stitches!!
Great comedian, relatable, fun excursion during the mean Covid!
Great show! And the opener, Brian Bates, was funny too
Great show! Great audience! Areas for improvement- Time to allow vaccinated to go maskless. Could use better signage to find exits, bathrooms, and garage. Overall a great experience!
Loved Leanne's show at the Capital One Hall in Tysons, VA. So many things we can directly relate to. Hilarious!
Absolutely hysterical. My wife is from TN so this was for her, but i laughed as much as she did.
