I would follow LJG to the ends of the earth.

by Adrienne on 4/10/23The Blue Note - Columbia

There's just something about seeing Laura Jane Grace in person. This was such a great set list and atmosphere. She's so gracious on stage and was so smooth at handling the just a little too drunk folks in the crowd. She always makes her shows feel like a community. The music was amazing, and the openers were great too!

    LJG always brings the passion!!

by Page on 5/13/22Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

LJG is amazing — Ive seen her with Against Me! like 3-4 times, but this was the 1st time seeing her solo show — she shared so much passion, love, and heartbreak — the audience was transfixed ❤️

    A Fun Night I’m Purgatory

by Panda on 5/1/19The Masquerade - Atlanta

So I saw Laura Jane Grace and the Devouring Mothers at Purgatory room at the Masquerade bar in Atlanta. It was amazing. If you like Against Me! she played a few of their songs. If you like good punk/ rock n roll you would not be disappointed. I was with my husband who has an Against Me! tattoo on his arm because he’s a super fan and he was blown away. My favorite thing though was bringing my friend who knew almost nothing about the band. He said to me “I can’t hear the lyrics to these songs, but I know she means whatever she’s singing about.” Couldn’t get the point across better than that!

She kicks ass. Atom kicks ass. If you are able to catch their show, you should, it’s worthwhile.

Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers

    by Sunny2244 on 4/25/19Spirit Hall - Pittsburgh

We arrived early and were greeted by friendly helpful staff. The drinks and food they had were nothing overwhelming and priced a little high but it typical for Pittsburgh. The venue was clean and easy to find. Since we got to Spirit Hall early finding parking was not a problem. Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers along with the other two opening acts put on a great show. Everyone and everything was lovely and we will be back again!

    Great performance but weak crowd

    by A. R. on 4/14/19Spirit Hall - Pittsburgh

Ljg was absolutely amazing and genuine and mark and atom were fantastic. They all put on a great show and i so badly wanted to loose myself in it. However, it was a Very weak crowd and almost no one was doing much more than bouncing a leg or headbanging to the beat. it was unexpected to say the least, based on am!'s reputation. Still had a pretty good time-- it was probably a dream for photographers. The venue staff was pretty nice too.

    an intimate evening

by CircusSteph on 2/20/16The Sinclair - Cambridge

An intimate set of stripped down acoustic songs and spoken word. Raw, painful and revealing.

Excellent. More bands should do shows like this. We're not all angsty teens looking to get bruised up in a mosh pit.

Fantastic, intimate night of great music!

by WhatWeWorkedFor on 2/17/16Sixth & I Historic Synagogue - Washington

I've seen Against Me! / Laura Jane Grace ~15 times over the last 12 years, in about any venue you can imagine including festivals, basement shows, arenas, an old gymnasium, etc., but I was a little nervous about seeing them in a historic synagogue. Boy was I wrong! I couldn't imagine a better setting for the amazingly intimate show. She shared entries from tour journals, stories from her life, and played the amazing songs we all know and love, arranged perfectly for the night with Against Me!'s drummer, and a great bassist.

Played some hits, would have liked a little more of the older stuff but I guess that's to be expected.

by alexalexdmv on 2/17/16Sixth & I Historic Synagogue - Washington

Laura spans the history of Against Me! and reads from her journal and tells stories between the songs, giving fans an intimate view on them. This tour is an absolute must see for fans of Against Me!

I didn't know any of the songs

by savethebob on 8/19/13Bowery Ballroom - New York

Sounded great, but she didn't play one song off of New Wave, or the 2-3 miscellaneous other singles I knew. All new stuff and super old stuff. It made me feel like I didn't belong at the show or something.

Laura Jane Grace did a fantastic set of new songs and classics from the AM! back catalog.
