LANCO in Concert
A LANCO show brings a touch of rock 'n' roll energy to the modern country concert setting. Before you even hear them start to play, singer Brandon Lancaster, guitarist Eric Steedly, keyboardist Jared Hampton, bassist Chandler Baldwin, and drummer Tripp Howell come off like rockers, just as likely to sport shades and leather jackets as they are to don jeans and cowboy hats. And that combination is echoed in the band's music, which starts from a modern country base and sprinkles in some pop hooks and rock momentum. And frontman Lancaster knows how to sell a song—you'll see him onstage delivering "Greatest Love Story," the No. 1 country tune that got everything rolling for the band, like his life and yours both depend on it. And by the time he's through, you might just believe they do. After their aforementioned hit, LANCO unleashed their 2017 debut album, ‘Hallelujah Nights,' and their 2018 itinerary found the band bouncing between headlining club dates on their own Hallelujah Nights tour with special guest Travis Denning, and opening arena-type shows for Dierks Bentley, followed by a 2019 opening slot on yet another arena-scale tour with Luke Combs headlining.
LANCO Background
LANCO, whose moniker is derived from the surname of frontman Brandon Lancaster, got their start in Nashville almost by accident. It was like something out of a Hollywood movie, really—Lancaster was working a concession stand at a Keith Urban concert when he happened to strike up a conversation with Urban's producer Jay Joyce. This led to a meeting that in turn led to a publishing deal, and before they knew it, LANCO were signed to Arista Nashville. The band's 2017 single "Greatest Love Story" hit the top spot on the country charts and went Gold, making the band one of the hottest new names in Nashville in the blink of an eye. And when they followed it up with their 2018 debut album, ‘Hallelujah Nights,' it became clear pretty quickly that Lanco's mix of country, rock, and pop influences was no flash in the pan. Along the way, they've been nominated for multiple ACM and CMA awards, performed at the Grand Ole Opry, and earned over 200 million streams of ‘Hallelujah Nights.'

Great opener ...Tyler Rich. Lanco came out with great energy and crowd involvement. Saved the best tunes for last but so many great songs. Always love when the band is living their best lives!

Lanco is some of the best artists and Entertainers I’ve seen. The show was amazing - they will soon be big- it’s coming! Their music is unique, a concert of the ages!
I’ve seen LANCO 5 times - this is has been the best show to date (as far as sound). They keep getting better! High energy show with great crowd interaction. Can’t wait to follow their journey!
We purchased a table in the VIP section of the event. When we arrived, people were at our table and unwilling to move. When we asked the staff to assist, they suggested we just pull up some stools to our table. We spent extra money purchasing the table, so it was frustrating that the tables were a free for all. We would have just bought the standing area had we known this. But we spent extra to buy the table and barely had any room at it. Was a little frustrating, probably wont return to this venue. It also took over 45 minutes to buy a drink, as the lines wrapped through the whole building. Took over 30 minutes to wait in line for the bathrooms... LANCO and Matt Stell were AMAZING!
We had heard their songs on a country station and like them. We thought that’s what we were going to hear. We didn’t realize they had changed to some, I guess you would call hard rock music. My wife and I could not stand it. We kept thinking they would play those. They didn’t. We left after the second song. We were very disappointed. We would not have stayed for them if we knew that was the type of so called music they now make. So glad Diamond Rio, went first. They were great! We loved their music and style. Very classy group. We will never go to another concert with LANCO playing!

Diamond Rio did an excellent job entertaining the audience. They are really very good after all of these years. The Grand Theater in Durant is a very nice facility. The sound and seating is excellent
No joke...most interesting concert I have ever attended. These guys came right out to the audience and performed a real 3D experience!
First thing was the venue people were letting people in free. Second they did not honor assigned seating and let everybody sit where ever they wanted, that's great for some people but I had 2nd row seats and ended up sitting way back & in the section to the left of the stage. As far as Lanco, they sounded great even though it was the last show of their trip before getting a couple weeks off. I'd go see them again just to get the full experience of them in concert.
Lanco and their opening act were both amazing!! Can’t wait for their return to Vancouver...love the Commodore Ballroom and LOVE LANCO!! They put on a fabulous show!!
Is started good but ended poorly. For some reason they ended up playing cover music most of the night. I did not pay for a cover band, I can see that anytime at any bar.
The length was great! Having to pay more to be on the balcony was silly! Other than that, it was a great venue!
I had never been to the Varsity Theater before, so when I got there I understood why I had standing only tickets. My friend and I ended up going to the balcony to watch and listen to LANCO five feet from the balcony, there were seats at the balcony rail that would be $50 more per person if we wanted to upgrade. We stood and watched them play, we had a perfect view right between the 2 people in chairs at the rail in front of us. LANCO was excellent for an up and coming Country Group. I would definitely see them again.
They were very entertaining and full of energy. Very personable with the crowd.
Cool little venue i have never been to before i honestly imagined Lanco would need a much bigger spot than this so it was a really cool set up for a close up intimate concert. warm up band wasnt bad girl can sing but singing a song about a broken heart does not pump up the crowd. i get it though she is trying to get her music out there. anyway on to Lanco. I absolutely loved the experience. they involved the crowd the whole time, moved around that stage and had us all singing at the top of our lungs along with them. they came down into the crowd and had a singalong. super fun super great band. catch them wherever you can. it will be cool to watch them get bigger and bigger and play the stadiums some day and i will be able to tell people that i saw them 8ft away!
