About
Lainey Wilson is a Grammy-winning country artist originally from Baskin, Louisiana. The singer-songwriter self-released her first EP in high school, and after several years in Nashville, unveiled her self-titled debut album in 2014. Her 2016 follow-up, Tougher, broke onto the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, while her single “Things a Man Oughta Know” from the 2019 Redneck Hollywood EP marked Wilson’s first of four career No. 1s on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The single was rereleased on her 2021 full-length Sayin' What I'm Thinkin’ and became her first to chart on the Hot 100. With 2022’s Bell Bottom Country, Wilson reached the Billboard 200 and later won Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammys. In 2024, Wilson released her fifth album, Whirlwind, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album at the 2025 Grammys. As a collaborator, Wilson hit career peaks on the Billboard Hot 100 for Cole Swindell’s 2021 single “Never Say Never,” Jelly Roll’s 2023 single “Save Me” and Post Malone’s 2024 single “Nosedive.” Wilson has also worked with Dolly Parton, Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert, and made her acting debut on the television series Yellowstone in 2022.

Laney was great but was expecting a longer show by her plus she has enough of her own songs that the filler Collage was definitely not needed plus it wasn't exactly all that good. Her opening acts well I could have enjoyed a nice dinner and not seen them. Can't see then becoming headliners anytime soon.

Not a bad seat and view in the house.. except for a poll! Lainey Lainey Laney!! The stage was incredible she got right to business. Performer was electrifying and she make everyone feel like country. Koenig acts also great!! Amazing

The second opening act Ian was terrible and way way too long making the show seem to never end. I was exhausted before Lainey even came on stage. We became fans after watching Lainey do an amazing job opening for Luke Combs last year. Last year’s performance was much better as an opening act. The venue was beautiful but the acoustics were off.

Lainey Wilson' show fell short of expectations

The performance included 2 warm up bands. The first was okay, but the second went on too long and was not that good. The biggest problem was between each performance, there was a long delay for the set change. I would guess at least 1 1/2 hours was wasted waiting for the next performance. When Lainey finally came on, the sound quality was poor. It was difficult to understand the lyrics and often too loud. I know many concert goers like it that way, but I go to concerts to hear the artist's lyrics in their song choices. Even 'Watermellon Moonshine' was hard to understand and I know that song. I saw her in 2023 when she was the warm up band for Eric Church and that performance was outstanding. I believe that as her popularity skyrocketed, her show became over produced. As we left the concert early, along with many other people, we found the sound actually better on the long walk to our parking space. Sorry Lainey you are a talented artist but this show fell short.
