Lady A Concert Schedule

Lady A (formerly known as "Lady Antebellum") became one of the 21st century's most successful trios thanks to a radio-friendly, harmony-laden sound that effortlessly straddles contemporary country and mainstream pop. The Nashville outfit first hit the road supporting the likes of Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, and Kenny Chesney before embarking on their first headline trek, Need You Now, in 2010. They have continued to wow audiences across the globe ever since, including on world tours such as 2014's Take the Night, 2015's Wheels Up and 2017's You Look Good, where they played famed venues such as the Old National Centre in Indianapolis or Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Packed with flawless vocals, rich three-part harmonies, and a mixture of No. 1 hits and fan favorites, as well as the odd surprise cover, the Lady Alive show is a visually appealing, toe-tapping, feel-good experience from start to finish.

Lady A Background

Lead vocalists Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott and multi-instrumentalist Dave Heywood first came together in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. Named after the architectural style that originated in the 19th-century Deep South, Lady A (formerly known as "Lady Antebellum") began performing on their local circuit before landing a deal with Capitol Records Nashville in 2007. They first came to national attention later that year with U.S. Country Top 3 single "Love Don't Live Here." Their eponymous debut LP arrived in 2008, kickstarting a run of four consecutive chart-toppers on the U.S. Country Album chart, spawning the first of many No. 1 hits, the Grammy-winning "I Run To You," and landing them Vocal Group of the Year at the ACMs. 2009 sophomore Need You Now took the band's career to another level, reaching the top of the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of nearly half-a-million and producing a No. 2 hit on the U.S. Hot 100 with its title track. Lady A continued to dominate the country-pop scene throughout the following decade, topping the Billboard 200 once more with 2011's Own the Night and 2013's Golden, winning Favorite Country Band, Duo or Group at the American Music Awards three years straight and scoring multiple No. 1 hits, including "American Honey," "Our Kind of Love" and "Just a Kiss." Following 2014's 747, the trio took a hiatus to focus on their respective solo careers. But they picked up where they left off in 2017 with their chart-topping sixth studio effort, Heart Break.

Great show put on in such a small venue. I am glad that I got the chance to see them early on in their careers, so I can say... "I saw them back when!" Loved the show and their enthusiasim with the crowd!

What an awesome concert! To see such talent and freshness was great. Their sound was incredible, especially for a 7 piece band. They interacted with the audience and seemed thrilled to be performing for us! The feeling tone in the place was happy, energetic, and just plain fun!

I loved the performance, but the show was too short.

I enjoyed their music and look forward to seeing them in the future when they have more of their own songs to sing. The stage was bare and lacked a professional quality.

  • Lady Antebellum Rocked the House!

by BonnieAndClydeRule on 10/22/09Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PhoenixRating: 4 out of 5

It was such a good show - all the seats were close, the sound was great, there was a giant video screen that showed everyone close up - it was awesome. The group did all the songs off their CD and sounded wonderful - they even threw in a couple cover tunes by Melloncamp & ACDC if you can believe it. I think this group is going to be a huge hit for a long time.

  • Awesome Antebellum!

by Burley on 10/22/09Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

I don't even know where to start. Between the great song choices and the awesome live vocals, Lady Antebellum is one of the greatest live performing bands of my personal time. I personally started to steer away from country music, and on a whim decided to go to this concert. Well I remembered why I have love country for so long. I would recommend seeing them live to anyone who crossed my path. AWESOME!

  • Lady Antebellum

The group is extraordinarily talented. We were thoroughly impressed. Both lead vocalists sound amazing whether singing acoustic or with the full band. Our seats were positioned well to the stage in the Coliseum. The only slightly disappointing aspect of the performance was that we seemed to be in the direct blast zone for the two-story speakers which overshadowed the vocals on some of the more up-tempo, full-band songs -- but we're getting old and who knows . . . the hearing is not what it used to be, either.

  • Amazing concert!

  • Lady Antebellum makes the show enjoyable

Before the show i got to go back stage with my best friend and meet Lady A. They are all so nice and they really take the time to have a conversation with you instead of rushing through to get to the next person. During the concert you could tell they were having a great time on stage and they made it fun for the audience. the set list was perfect.

The show was awesome! They are so good live! Very entertaining.

  • Lady Antebellum needs more exposure in small venue

by Anonymous on 10/22/09Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PhoenixRating: 1 out of 5

Good songs only if you already knew the words. Too much sound overwhelms the singers. Acoustics? I don't know. Left before end. Enjoy their singing on radio or cd but not this performance.. Lady needs to quit pushing that string of hair back, Cut it or pin it.
