Lady A Concert Schedule

Lady A (formerly known as "Lady Antebellum") became one of the 21st century's most successful trios thanks to a radio-friendly, harmony-laden sound that effortlessly straddles contemporary country and mainstream pop. The Nashville outfit first hit the road supporting the likes of Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, and Kenny Chesney before embarking on their first headline trek, Need You Now, in 2010. They have continued to wow audiences across the globe ever since, including on world tours such as 2014's Take the Night, 2015's Wheels Up and 2017's You Look Good, where they played famed venues such as the Old National Centre in Indianapolis or Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Packed with flawless vocals, rich three-part harmonies, and a mixture of No. 1 hits and fan favorites, as well as the odd surprise cover, the Lady Alive show is a visually appealing, toe-tapping, feel-good experience from start to finish.

Lady A Background

Lead vocalists Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott and multi-instrumentalist Dave Heywood first came together in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. Named after the architectural style that originated in the 19th-century Deep South, Lady A (formerly known as "Lady Antebellum") began performing on their local circuit before landing a deal with Capitol Records Nashville in 2007. They first came to national attention later that year with U.S. Country Top 3 single "Love Don't Live Here." Their eponymous debut LP arrived in 2008, kickstarting a run of four consecutive chart-toppers on the U.S. Country Album chart, spawning the first of many No. 1 hits, the Grammy-winning "I Run To You," and landing them Vocal Group of the Year at the ACMs. 2009 sophomore Need You Now took the band's career to another level, reaching the top of the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of nearly half-a-million and producing a No. 2 hit on the U.S. Hot 100 with its title track. Lady A continued to dominate the country-pop scene throughout the following decade, topping the Billboard 200 once more with 2011's Own the Night and 2013's Golden, winning Favorite Country Band, Duo or Group at the American Music Awards three years straight and scoring multiple No. 1 hits, including "American Honey," "Our Kind of Love" and "Just a Kiss." Following 2014's 747, the trio took a hiatus to focus on their respective solo careers. But they picked up where they left off in 2017 with their chart-topping sixth studio effort, Heart Break.

    Incredible

by Sara on 11/1/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

What an amazing night. Lady A was on their game. Hillary was sweet, lovely and engaging with the crowd. This tour was called "The Request"tour which meant people called in before the show to request the songs they wanted to hear. It was cool that Lady A played the voice mails then sang that song. Very unique and a perfect way to connect with the audience. My favorite part was when Charles sang his new song written about his recovery, extremely heartfelt and emotional. I believe that if Lady A was able, they would have song all of their songs, but they came very, very, close. What an amazing night!!!

    GREAT DATE NIGHT CONCERT

by Mr. B on 10/31/23The Anthem - Washington

Entering the venue was a breeze as the line moved swiftly. Inside there was someone that helped locate our seat immediately saving us precious time. Getting a beverage was also easy as there were no lines at the counters. Lady A put on a well polished performance and had the audience in awe the whole evening. We didn’t here “Golden “ but we saw a truly wonderful show. So glad we attended the concert.

    Most amazing evening!

by Tgodmom on 10/31/23The Anthem - Washington

I attend many events yearly and I was extremely excited to hear the buzz around us as it seems we weren’t the only couple there beyond excited to see the show!! The world became smaller as we got to share stories with others around us, some of which were lucky enough to meet Lady A. They described them as the nicest people you’d ever meet as did the opener Dave Barnes! That was apparent as we watched the show!! The band was tight!! Didn’t miss a beat and so were the vocals!! Teared up several times!! Thank you for a wonderful experience, Dave Barnes & Lady A!!!!

    Great concert Great venue

by bb on 10/31/23The Anthem - Washington

amazing concert, played every song we wanted to hear and a few new songs. the venue was wonderful with actual leg room. our only issue was a group of 6 year olds (going on 40) who sat behind us and tried to get each others attention by talking louder, they even spilled a drink on my wife's friend! Yes ladies you are "those"people.

    Amazing, Touching, Beautiful, Fun

by Patti on 10/31/23The Anthem - Washington

Been a Lady A fan since 2008 and seen you all 3 times now in concert! This concert did not disappoint and your talents and harmony is amazing. My daughter and I were especially touched by Charles's announcement on his 15 month sobriety. I am also a recovering alcoholic with 5 years under my belt and understand the struggle. Congrats and thank you for sharing your struggle. My 17-year-old daughter, who attended with me, and I cried together listening to your original song. Thank you.

    Great Concert! Bad ushers

by JQ on 10/31/23The Anthem - Washington

The concert was just fantastic! However, we were sitting in a front row terrace sear and an usher/security guy walked back and forth probably a 100 times right in front of us obscuring our view repeatedly.

    Great singers!

by Jeff on 10/31/23The Anthem - Washington

I wasn't a huge fan of theirs prior to the concert, but there was a lot of talent on that stage. They put on a great show and the radio doesn't do them justice.

    Amazing!!

by Jennyb on 10/31/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

The band was amazing as was the venue! I haven't been to the Landmark Theatre for a concert in many years and was skeptical about the sound quality. As it turned out, the sound was great, making the show even BETTER (if that's possible?!)

Boomy bass drum sound in balcony

by Rod on 10/31/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

Sound man/woman should check room sound in balcony. The kick drum reinforcement overwhelmed the performers and muffled all other sound. The band (including drummer) and vocalists were very good. Sorry that we couldn't hear them more distinctly. If the balcony boominess is not an unavoidable characteristic of the landmark venue then the sound reinforcement needs tweaking.
