About

Kyle Kinane is a comedian from Addison, Illinois. According to Wikipedia, he is a notable person from that town. Other notable residents of Addison have been the boxer Leon Spinks and a woman who wrote poetry about Beanie Babies. Raised in such a cultural fondue pot as this, it was natural for Kyle to find his way from warehouse work into show business. As a comedian, he has been seen on Conan, The Tonight Show, Netflix's "The Standups," and three of his own hour-length specials on Comedy Central. As an actor, he's been in the Judd Apatow series "Love" and truTV's "Those Who Can't." He was also on "Drunk History," where he unfortunately wasn't acting. As a voice over actor, he was the former voice of Comedy Central for 8 years and currently plays Bullet on the Netflix series "Paradise PD." He is also cohost of the Boogie Monster podcast along with Dave Stone, and the streaming show "Hey Girl" with Matt Braunger. As a musician, he has done nothing, as he is not a musician. Kyle's most recent standup work, "Trampoline In A Ditch," was recorded at Comedy on State in Madison, Wisconsin and was released on 800 LB Gorilla Records in 2020. The album was accompanied by an animated short, produced by Meister. "When you're here, you're family."

  • Excellent Show at an Excellent Venue

by MCJP on 9/26/23Knitting Factory - Spokane - SpokaneRating: 5 out of 5

The warm up comic was fun and we got a decent warm up before the headliner. Kyle was on form and had us seriously doubled over laughing. There's a reason he's my favorite comic. Great insightful thoughts and stories. Amazingly funny interpretations of life. Great show!

Laughed my butt off and loved his opener as well! Love this venue, except the WiFi was down and they couldn't take cards for drinks for awhile...

We had a great time at the Kyle Kinane show in Pontiac! He is a great performer and comedian and the entire crowd laughed their way through this performance. We would strongly recommend anyone see him if he comes through your area!

Second time seeing him live, amazing set as always -- wall to wall laughs, perfect timing and delivery of every punchline.

Kyle killed it as usual! Sooo funny...and relatable (conversations with mom being a Rube Goldberg Machine). Staff at the venue were very helpful and friendly. I had a great night.

This is the second time I’ve seen Kyle Kinane live and I certainly hope it’s not the last. Love his conversational style of storytelling. He’s absolutely hysterical and clearly brilliant.

  • So funny!

I’ve been a fan of Kyle’s for years but never had a chance to see him live. Well worth the wait!! Hilarious!! Awesome show!!

  • GER

by Demigogg on 12/5/22Cobb's Comedy Club - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

The show started with 2 opening acts. The first one was cringy and not so funny. He only got funny once he started talking about his Egyptian heritage. The second act was very funny but in that stream of consciousness story telling about a mundane subject seen in a different point of view sort of way. We all politely laughed and waited for the real act. Finally, Kyle Kinane came out on stage. Wow! He's shorter than I thought. But from the first sentence he had us laughing. He talked about his gout and his GER and his other ailments we can all relate to but he did it in a way that made us see the humor of it all. He explores his feelings and his view on life with the fine eye of a scholar and a philosopher. And he makes us laugh as he is doing it. I discovered him by accident online and listened to "I Like His Old Stuff Better" session and I related so well to that "failed punk-rocker out of the suburbs" thing. I could almost see my life through of his eyes and it made my regrets more bearable. I continued to devour everything he's done since then and felt it was well worth it to see him live at Cobb's in the freezing San Francisco weather through 2 not-so-funny comedians and the 2 drinks minimum. I've heard him being described as being a misanthrope in other reviews. Nothing can be further from the truth. He loves humanity. He just wants us to love him back. But damn, he was short! • Great show. Kinane is great comedian and storyteller

by NWtrout on 4/5/22Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Sean Jordan was a solid opener. Very funny. Kinane showed no signs of stage rust after being off the stage during COVID pandemic. Great, funny, insightful and laugh out loud storytelling. Only downside was scalpers that snatched up tickets leaving less than full house. Ticketmaster needs to do better in this regard.

  • Pleasantly surprised

    by K. S. on 3/29/22Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The 3 of us had never heard of Kyle before and we didn't look up anything on him before we went because we wanted to not have any preconceived ideas or opinions. We were in the front row. Not only was the opener very good but Kyle was excellent! He was very relevant, he didn't cuss a lot, and he had a very quick sarcastic wit that could run on into other jokes. He reminded me of a clean version of George Carlin. We all agreed we would definitely go see him again. And 3 front row tickets at The Neptune ran around $120 - well worth it!

  • Fantastic

Wonderful show. First time hearing then in person and they were fantastic

  • Awesome time

by Leviticus on 3/29/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Him do tell story good. No seriously im having a hard time putting into words how well he blends jokes with story. His timing is impeccable and as always he is outrageous but in a good way. Hes the first comedian that truly got me into comedy. If you have time and kyle is near you go and see one of his shows!

  • Distractions and chairs stole the show

by Brea on 3/29/22Knitting Factory Concert House - Spokane - SpokaneRating: 4 out of 5

Kyle was an incredible comedian. Unfortunately the venue did not support him the way it should have. The stage was so high it was a bit uncomfortable to watch him. The dance floor was set up with plastic fold out chairs that were so uncomfortable people were shifting constantly just to avoid trying to get up for relief. I wish there would have been some more help with crowd control as well, as there were people talking a few rows back that were louder than Kyle and the gentleman next to me proceeded to repeat every punchline aloud.

  • Great show

warm up comic got it going after a fashion, but Kyle killed coming out and never relented. Took my son, Kyle's a family favorite.

  • Kyle Kinane was phenomenal

    by Jason B on 3/27/22Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The show was wonderful, the theater is great, but the fact that it was a sold out show with empty seats due to the shady **** Ticketmaster both allows and participates in leaves a lot to be desired from the monopoly that the company holds on the ticket purchasing experience.

  • Not As Great As Before

    by Anonymous23 on 11/27/21Barrymore Theatre - MadisonRating: 2 out of 5

The theatre needs a drastic update. The amount of people talking during the show ruined this experience for us. The smell of cigarettes and beer from the people surrounding us was very unpleasant. We understand Covid has set everyone back, but Kyle Kianane was not as funny as he was in the past. The openers were not funny either. The show was a bust for us unfortunately. Not worth the money at all.
