Kurtis Conner was born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1994, where he later performed his first stand-up shows and studied comedy writing and performance at Humber College. In 2014, he had amassed around 350,000 followers on the viral, yet short-lived, Vine app. Although Vine was destined to disappear, Conner used the recognition he had gained online to start a YouTube channel and begin touring stand-up shows all over Canada in 2014. By 2016, he had released his debut stand-up record Cuppla Jokes, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Comedy chart and No. 1 on iTunes. Conner's YouTube fans can't seem to get enough of his characteristic thoughtful irreverence and wacky video editing techniques. As of 2022, his YouTube channel has over 3.9 million followers, and his clips frequently hit the Top 10 trending page. While most of his videos are lighthearted critiques of movies or popular trends, he has resonated with fans for occasionally taking a stand against offensive or problematic online content. In 2019, he gained recognition for calling out a pair of TikTok stars for jokingly portraying domestic violence situations, and he ended up raising $26,000 for domestic violence awareness.

The stage is a great size for the arrangement of the audience too. You could tell the guys were enjoying the audience interaction as much as we were enjoying the show. 10/10

Kurt’s set was funny as expected, and was super engaging. Even when the crowd got too talkative he got the attention back to him. The venue parking was hella confusing, recommend taking public transport. The inside is beautiful but with the room full of people it’s a bit tight when trying to leave the front doors. Overall a great show and I’ll definitely get more tickets if he comes down here again!

Jacob, Dean, & Kurtis all did a wonderful job. We had really good seats in the balcony area. I’ve been to the Orpheum Theatre a few times before & the venue is nothing short of beautiful. The security was nice too (which is not the most common thing in Nola, sadly) All the guys did AMAZING, but Jacob Sharpe was so hilarious. I love his energy. I hope to go to more stand up comedy & if these guys are in the area, I would love to go see them again!! Fabulous birthday gift & great crowd.

by O. F. on 6/21/22My friends and I went to the 2022 tour, and it was so good! Jacob and Dean had such good sets and everyone gave them the love they deserved. Kurtis absolutely killed it! Would highly recommend if you’re a fan, and I’d totally go again if they came to my area

I am so glad we came to the show. I will definetly follow his career closely and he can expect me at other events for sure
