    K + D rocked the house

by djkicks on 10/18/10Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Kruder and Dorfmeister's one Southern California date did not disappoint! The sound was amazing at Club Nokia, and I loved that the Pit Area was restricted to the 1st 400 people - there was plenty of room to breathe and dance! But if we hadn't done our research and didn't know to get there early, we would have been just as angry as the rest of the people who wanted to get close to the stage but couldn't because they didn't have a wristband. The visual show was insane and really complimented the show. What a great time!

    Thought they'd be more creative...

by ocheeky1 on 10/17/10Club Nokia - Los Angeles

K & D started out with a few familiar tunes with some new sounds mixed in which was great. Then they played clubby sounding repetitive techno. Too repetitive!!!! A couple of the songs were pretty good but I thought they'd mix it up a bit and get more creative. Who knows what they were doing behind the decks- for all we knew they were just adjusting levels or something. There were a couple mc's sort of rapping/ singing to some of the songs, but again, a lot of it repetitive. Not that impressive. I guess my expectations were too high. Loved the venue though.

    frikin' awesome

by cheynah on 10/17/10Club Nokia - Los Angeles

One of the best shows I have seen. K&D killed it but the VJ Franz Fritzke deserves a good part of the credit. The visuals were some of the best I have ever seen.

    K & D

by spoonc on 10/17/10Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Nice small venue, we didn't have to wait for the show to start. It wasn't crowded. The music was phenomenal - the show was amazing. The reason this does not get a five star rating is that this was a once in the lifetime event according to the billing - they could have done at least a one song encore. But, they played a short set, finished, the lights came on, Kruder & Dorfmeister were gone.

K&D were awseome and still got it!

by DoctorFrankenberry on 10/17/10Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Haven't heard anything new from German dj's Kruder & Dorfmeister in a long time. Still, my friends and I weren't gonna miss this for the World. Great music and incredible visuals along with a state of the art sound system complements of LA's new Club Nokia made for a perfect night.

by Muses on 10/14/10Best Buy Theater - New York City

loved K+D reallY!!!!!! they are incredible composers. Nikademus was phenomonal!!! but.... the encore was VERY annoying and the MC was wack! Next time TOSCA and JAC albums. we loved them truly. otherwise its the best live electro show ive been to in a very long time!!

    Got progressively worse

by tysovka on 10/14/10Best Buy Theater - New York City

The concert started out great. They even played "Bug Powder Dust." At the mid point, it seemed that they started playing "House." But it was still fun and energetic. Oh, and they had a great set. Then at the end they played "we will we will rock you" but with their own words. That sucked big time and was just out of place. But the very last song absolutely killed everything. They played "Let it be" with the words "16 years of wisdom - K&D, K&D" displaying words on big monitors. It was awful!!!!! I'm still in disbelief.

    K&D Live

by Herceg on 10/14/10Best Buy Theater - New York City

Great music, fantastic visuals, but silly space called, Best Buy Theater, still comfortable enough... K&D are back, more experienced, still very elegant and cool, with a great DJ set spanning past, present and future of G-Stone Recordings. No live instruments here, except for Dorfmeister's brief exhibition on the hand-held 80' synth (Moog?!). Huge, colorful, simply brilliant, visuals by Fritz Fitzke and rapping, by now legendary, MC Earl Zinger keep you animated while the K&D rhythms carry you on and on, up and down through great soundscapes of urban beats, reggae, down tempo, trip-hop, house, and, of course, drum and bass. Leaves you 'Speechless!!' Kruder And Dorfmeister on Decks Visuals By Fritz Fitzke MCs Earl Zinger & Ras Mc T on the floor

Kruder & Dorfmeister feat. MC Earl Zinger & Ras MC

by Tbone1111 on 10/14/10Best Buy Theater - New York City

Warm up DJ was ok, sound system sucked for him (really bad!) sound system for Main act Kruder & Dorfmieister was good not great but couldnt hear vocals. looked like they were just standing there palying a CD behind the DJbooth, they looked like Mannequins not moving to the beat, nothing. It would have been nice to see what they were doing back there instead of hiding behind booth. They played a few really good selections but the rest were weak and to mellow. The last song was the nail in the coffin for me the used The Beatles "Let it Be" and changed the lyrics to K&D instead of Let It Be, what a let down..... Why not play a killer house track and go out with a bang??? PS Video wall was cool, one of the video monitors were out and moving head light show was weak at best....Dissapointed

    Simply Amazing

by manoj on 10/14/10Best Buy Theater - New York City

This was my first K&D concert and my first time seeing Zinger or T-Weed. Just amazing - the music, the visuals. All the performers were very engaging which made the crowd even crazier. I'd definitely see any of these artists again.

Better off listening to the CD at home!

by Mack55 on 10/14/10Best Buy Theater - New York City

This event was completely dull, it was like watching a big video game while K and D played around with their recordings. And the vocalists were REALLY irritating! One of them kept asking "Is this New York?'. Sooooo obnoxious!
