Sang only to audience on her right and center

by Cn on 11/22/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Kristin Chenoweth gave a wonderful concert and her beautiful voice - and the voices of her "teammates"really shinned. The selections, the interaction with the audience, etc. was appreciated. HOWEVER, when you spend a lot of money for "good"seats on the floor, it was disappointing that she never really went beyond the center mark to our side of the stage. Meaning, as she stood on the stage looking out at the audience, nearly all of her performance had her facing folks to her right or in the middle, never to her left. In fact she even made a comment during the performance about where the marker was denoting the center. After so much of the early part of the performance was done facing to her right, we and others around us fully expected that eventually she would come over to her left, but that didn't happen. This would easily have been a FIVE rating if she had only paid attention to her audience more evenly. The concert was great, and the large screens certainly helped ease our disappointment . . . BUT. Perhaps this information could be passed on to Kristin to help out future concert goers. Thank you.

    What a voice!

by Sue C on 11/22/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Kind, funny, emotional, a humble and a fabulous voice. A great variety of music. You will fall in love with her and her songs. A must see.

Wonderful performer, not a holiday show

by Greg on 11/22/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

My wife and I thought Kristin's performance was great however it was hardly a holiday show. There were only about 4 numbers that could be considered holiday fare. We were also disappointed at the length of the concert. Having paid nearly $200 per ticket I would have expected more than an hour and twenty minute performance. The sound and the seating in the venue also left much to be desired.

    Fan favorite.

by Sparkles on 11/22/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

No fan of Kristen Chenoweth should have walked away from this concert disappointed. She sang at least one song from all of her recent albums. The songs she opted to sing show her diverse skills. She sang in styles that ranged from opera to pop. Her vocal range is amazing from alto to F above High C. This concert will be a treasured memory for me.

    Awwwwmazing

by Kristen Fan on 11/22/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

I LOVED the show I did not expect her to sing “Popular” (saw the Broadway show 3 times in the hopes I would see her, but didn’t). This made me tear up, loved her inclusion with a Jewish song and her messaging and hope for peace. Also I wish the lady next to me would stop farting, so I apologize to Kristen personally if she saw some of the horrifying faces I was making I PROMISE it wasn’t because of her!!!! Next time I’ll opt for an aisle seat way out in no mans land 😭🤣💔💜

    Fantastic Voice

by Drummer61 on 11/22/23The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Kristin Chenworth at the turning stone, was phenomenal on Sunday night. Her voice just sourced through the auditorium to the point where she put her microphone dying and saying a cappella and just had everyone. paying attention to her beautiful voice. turning Stone is one of the top places to hear a concert. In my opinion my only complaint would be there was a major hum and I'm not sure if it was part of the Soundsystem or the ventilation system at the turning Stone but by no man said that ruin anything as far as the music and concert went.

    Disappointing show.

by Ned Brooks on 10/3/23E.J. Thomas Hall - The University of Akron - Akron

The sound was too low to hear the banter bits between songs. The comedy didn't come across.

    Warm, witty, wonderful

by Leah D on 10/3/23E.J. Thomas Hall - The University of Akron - Akron

This evening with Kristin Chenoweth did not disappoint! She performed a broad range of music with heart, soul, and a liberal sprinkling of humor. Her phenomenal talent was on display, as expected, but it’s her ability to really connect with the audience that makes a concert with her such a magical experience.

    Fun, enjoyable entertainment.

by Sam on 10/3/23E.J. Thomas Hall - The University of Akron - Akron

Kristen was wonderful. She is an amazing performer with an incredible voice. She even did one last bonus song for us, completely without a MIC! She did a nice variety of music as well. She was personable and funny. Her music team was great as well. I would see her again for sure. We had a very good time.

Kristin Chenoweth is one of the most extraordinary talents of my generation. Her exceptional musical range was on full display. Humorous, and at times poignant. A magnificent show. I count myself lucky to have had an opportunity to watch an exceptional artist.

    Short and sweet

by Blimpie on 10/3/23E.J. Thomas Hall - The University of Akron - Akron

She is so talented. The show was short, I think she could have given a few more songs.

    Fantastic

by Penelope on 10/3/23E.J. Thomas Hall - The University of Akron - Akron

I never thought that I'd get to see her in person!! Her performance was so very wonderful! Two very life-long, memorable moments were Pie Jesu and Bring Him Home. There was not a sound in the auditorium from the audience - everyone was mesmerized by the glorious sound of her voice. She really showed her vocal range by doing a low Karen Carpenter song before those high notes! Loved it so much!!

A great evening with Kristin Chenoweth

by RonB on 10/3/23E.J. Thomas Hall - The University of Akron - Akron

I have been a fan of Kristin's ever since her Wicked days and this is the first time attending one of her live shows. Very entertaining with a blend of storytelling and singing (both new and old songs). Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Kristin ALWAYS puts on the best show. Had the opportunity to take my mom and she loved it as well. She is the consummate performer, and the evening flew by as if it were magic.

    Loved the performance

by Candace on 9/4/22Majestic Theatre San Antonio - San Antonio

I was upset there was no stage door. Being in Broadway, she should have known people would be waiting at the door for her. People are spending a lot of money to see her and want photos and autographs.

    Awesome

    by S & P T. on 9/4/22Majestic Theatre San Antonio - San Antonio

We enjoyed Ms. Chenoweth's show immensely. She sang the 2 songs we hope she would sing. We are glad she did not retire "Bring him Home". It is one of our favorites. We would certainly like to have her return.
