  • should have been called Girl Group night

by xtina on 5/5/25Marquee Theatre - TempeRating: 2 out of 5

We are all for the love of KPOP dance nights but....when I can specifically remember how many boy groups were played in an almost 3 hour time span is not fun. Read the room, read the crowd. If you can't realize the entire room went crazy at ANY boy band song...play some more. Also there was one to many performances that night. It took away from the night being branded at a KPOP Club Night. There was also no time frame stated on the tickets, so after the last performance we thought it was finally going to turn into a party....and it just ends. Overall anything KPOP we love but it was not worth the $$$$

  • More Kpop Nights in Dallas, please

by Idkmanijustreallylikekpop on 1/23/25The Cambridge Room at House Of Blues - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Firstly, I had a great time and eagerly await the next Kpop Night. But they ended the event way too early. Basically, on the dot, at 12:30am -- right when the party was ramping up! A kpop night a few years ago at a different venue partied until 2am-ish. I had arrived an hour late and people were leaving in what seemed like droves because the room they booked was too small and that made it uncomfortably warm for everyone who stayed. Coat check was available for $10. Lydia, who was manning that station, was great. The solo bartender did a good job. The DJ played a decent set. A few songs that made a few of us scratch our heads, but nothing that killed the vibe. Staff weren't shy about rushing everyone to the exit and into the 30-ish degree cold once the event ended. Barely had time to herd my tipsy friend to collect their coat and help put it on correctly before the cold, outside air hit us. We were bummed the event ended early, but we had a fun time, regardless. More events like this are welcomed, as there's a large enough Kpop fanbase in Dallas, but not everyone can afford to go to concerts.

DJ was lit. Fun event to attend with friends! Drink on the pricey side but overall I will be attending again.

  • not really kpop centered and songs weren’t up to date

by mads on 7/20/24Rating: 2 out of 5

i was expecting this event to be centered mainly around kpop considering it was a kpop night but there were 2 djs and they both continually missed. one of them was playing kpop songs but was just playing the entire song instead of switching it up and the other dj wasn’t playing kpop songs at all (instead playing like dubstep instrumentals 😭) the songs that the dj played were not recent (which ofc is fine, older songs are great too) but i was expecting them to play songs that are currently really popular, like supernova. overall not really fun and i left early since the djs also kept repeating songs over and over.

  • Disappointing but made the most of it.

by Hope on 6/10/24Rating: 2 out of 5

I was super excited to go to this and watching the performances was nice but the music chosen weren’t meshed well and it wasn’t really music to dance to. Also no way to request songs because DJ was up on a blocked stage. Drinks were $17 per drink which is absolutely ridiculous. The performers stayed up on stage all night so no one was really dancing on the floor which was a little weird (I came to dance and have fun not watch people dance on a stage). Overall, I don’t think the venue (or DJ) was the right one. Friends and I left after a few hours.

I had a freaking blast at this event. A wonderful evening with my friends dancing the night way to our beloved kpop artists. I would love to see this event happen more often.

  • An amazing experience for my K-Pop Dance Club!

by Scott Hopkins on 12/4/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

Thank you Live Nation for hosting this event in Grand Rapids. I really hope this brings more K-pop like concerts and events to the community. There was definitely a decent crowd at this event and I am glad that KPOP is growing even in a mid-sized city like GR! My K-pop Dance Club all rated the event a 10/10 and would love to do something like this again. For me this was a dream come true because I love parties, dancing, and it played all my favorite music. I was on cloud 9 at this event!! <3. Please bring more events like this to Grand Rapids because we will all be back. Also, I want to say that my group of 14 created the hype circle near the end of the event--just sayin!! Thanks again Live Nation!

I had so much fun with my friends. The DJ that was playing definitely had a good song setlist. Me and my friends danced the night away(Twice pun intended haha😂) and the atmosphere and being around other kpop fans was fun😊❤️

I had a blast! Everyone was super nice and it was so cool to meet other Kpop lovers and trade bracelets with them. I wish I could have lasted a little longer. Please do it again soon!

  • Amazing. Please do this regularly!

by Ave on 12/4/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

So fun! Since no one else will play K-pop this was amazing, I would do it once a month if it was around that often!
