Korn in Concert
Since 1993, Korn has pushed boundaries, combining traditional heavy metal with elements of hip-hop, grunge, and alternative rock. They are considered pioneers of the Nu Metal genre, and the band's founders name the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Faith No More as their earliest influences. Korn's ignition of the Nu Metal spark inspired a long list of performers to create within the genre. Examples include Coal Chamber, Slipknot, and Limp Bizkit. Korn released their twelfth studio album, The Serenity of Suffering, on October 21, 2016. Guitarist Brian "Head" Welch has said that the album is "heavier than anyone's heard us in a long time". Korn promoted this release during their 2017 tour, The Serenity of Summer. Other Korn tours include 2013's The Reunion Tour with Head, 2011's The Path of Totality Tour, the 2010 Ballroom Blitz Tour, the 2009 Escape from the Studio Tour, the 2007 Bitch We Have a Problem Tour, the 2005 See You on the Other Side World Tour, the 2002 Untouchables Tour, and the 2000 Sick and Twisted Tour. In addition, Korn's recurring Family Values Tour took the band across the United States in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2006, and 2007. In 2013, Korn resurrected the Family Values Tour as a one-day Family Values Music Festival. Listening to a recording is nothing like being at a Korn show, no matter how loud the stereo goes. Fans go to live performances again and again to feel the powerful music pulse through their bodies. They often comment on the consistent energy and passion in Korn live performances, and venues are typically packed. Expect to be on your feet the entire time, and keep an eye out for the mosh pit that always forms right in front of the stage. Shows are a mix of new and old, including long-time favorites such as Shoots and Ladders, No Place to Hide, Freak on a Leash, and Here to Stay. Korn has won numerous awards, including two Grammys and two MTV Video Music Awards.
Korn's founding members, James Shaffer, Reginald Arvizu, and David Silveria, started working together under the name L.A.P.D. They were based in Oakland, California. The group moved to Los Angeles, where they released two albums. After adding Brian Welch and Jonathan Davis, they renamed the band Korn and started recording at Underground Chicken Sound. By 1993, Korn played gigs fairly consistently, and they attracted the attention of Epic Records. This led to the release of their first demo album, Neidermayer's Mind, which was popular with fans who were excited about their unique sound.
Korn and Alice in Chains announced an epic co-headline amphitheater tour across North America in the summer of 2019. Underoath joins as special guest on all dates, with Ho99o9 and FEVER 333 opening on select dates.

Korn put on a great show and having Avenged Sevenfold open for them was great!!!
This was my fourth time seeing Avenged, and I had the best seats I have ever had. The entire show was awesome, Completely made my day!! First time seeing KoRn, but it will not be the last, they have a massively energizing performance!!
The band played all the hits you go to see, while mixing in some decent new material. they still played well, but were obviously aging. there drummer is currently injured, and munky had to wear a back brace throughout the entire concert. jonathan had to take several breaks from singing. although there were these signs of aging, id still recommend anyone who wants to see korn see them! maybe now more than ever, given they may not be physically able to tour, sooner rather than later.
korn used this show for a warm-up for the 2 big shows they played in ohio over that weekend
It was the best concert that I have been to for a long time.. The concert was loud and fully enjoyable!!!
I found this concert was fairly decent. Never caught A7X before, and they were interesting. Not the most active stage presence, but good performance none the less. Korn did their usual thing, and were awesome. The Used, well, I only caught the tail end of their set, and I wasn't exactly impressed. I'm still not sure how they fit into that mix, but hey, to each their own.
I am a 40 yr old metal head, my kid is a 15 year old metal head-it was an interesting crowd the kids went nuts for Avenged Sevenfold, who were quite inpressive, with us parents going nuts for Korn..Both bands were great however Korn could've been louder!! It was also good to see Duff looking healthy & happy he jammed on the GNR tracks.
Concert was great! Beer Prices are out of line $8.50 I mean come on!
Korn show was a little short seemed like they only played about 6 songs and left the stage and never came back out for another song like most bands do ,approx 1 hour 15 mins. we were walking out at about 10:45pm
KICKED ASS. I've been to quite a few concerts over the past few years (First concert was age 12) Seen 3 out of 4 of my favorite bands. Never seen Korn before, always wanted to. When they unwrapped the signature microphone my boyfriend and I both freaked out. LOVED THE SHOW!!! I was never to into Sevenfold but after seeing them live---LOVE THEM. They put on a badass show. Korn was unforgettable. I love when bands put so much energy into a show and when you can just tell that they are having a blast doing what their doing.
This was my first rock concert and I had a BLAST!! Both bands put on an extremely wonderful show. I hope to see them again in concert.
The Korn and Avenged Sevenfold concert was the best damn concert ever! Even though it was raining, the bands were worth sitting in the downpours! We did not want to leave!
The concert was amazing! Avenged Sevenfold was is so amazing live! Korn was ok.
BEST CONCERT EVER!!! Cant wait til A7X is back in MICHIGAN!!!!!!
i loved all the bands that came out they were all amazing especially seeing A7x the 1st time and korn but even better since i got to go down to the floor by making an excuse to the guard with a few friends for help. :)
Korn is known for their amazing sound and they did not dissapoint. Avenged Sevenfold put on a spectacular show as well. This was my first time seeing Avenged live and i would definately see them again.
great time good show wish it could have went past 11 great time had by all that went
Korn is great every time I see them. Avenged Sevenfold-what can I say? I love 'em!
The concert was great!! I've been a huge Korn fan for the past 12 years and they never disappoint. I've seen them at the former 'state theater' downtown which is always the best because of the small size however them performing at the palace was still great despite the large venue. I'd recommend them to anyone even if your not familiar with them you will rock out to their fantastic music!!
Excellent bands and it was great to see them together. It was the second time that I had seen A7X....played great but I wish they could have played longer. Korn was amazing. First time to see them and they were full of energy. Davis was wide open from start to finish.
