Korn in Concert

Since 1993, Korn has pushed boundaries, combining traditional heavy metal with elements of hip-hop, grunge, and alternative rock. They are considered pioneers of the Nu Metal genre, and the band's founders name the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Faith No More as their earliest influences. Korn's ignition of the Nu Metal spark inspired a long list of performers to create within the genre. Examples include Coal Chamber, Slipknot, and Limp Bizkit. Korn released their twelfth studio album, The Serenity of Suffering, on October 21, 2016. Guitarist Brian "Head" Welch has said that the album is "heavier than anyone's heard us in a long time". Korn promoted this release during their 2017 tour, The Serenity of Summer. Other Korn tours include 2013's The Reunion Tour with Head, 2011's The Path of Totality Tour, the 2010 Ballroom Blitz Tour, the 2009 Escape from the Studio Tour, the 2007 Bitch We Have a Problem Tour, the 2005 See You on the Other Side World Tour, the 2002 Untouchables Tour, and the 2000 Sick and Twisted Tour. In addition, Korn's recurring Family Values Tour took the band across the United States in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2006, and 2007. In 2013, Korn resurrected the Family Values Tour as a one-day Family Values Music Festival. Listening to a recording is nothing like being at a Korn show, no matter how loud the stereo goes. Fans go to live performances again and again to feel the powerful music pulse through their bodies. They often comment on the consistent energy and passion in Korn live performances, and venues are typically packed. Expect to be on your feet the entire time, and keep an eye out for the mosh pit that always forms right in front of the stage. Shows are a mix of new and old, including long-time favorites such as Shoots and Ladders, No Place to Hide, Freak on a Leash, and Here to Stay. Korn has won numerous awards, including two Grammys and two MTV Video Music Awards.

Korn's founding members, James Shaffer, Reginald Arvizu, and David Silveria, started working together under the name L.A.P.D. They were based in Oakland, California. The group moved to Los Angeles, where they released two albums. After adding Brian Welch and Jonathan Davis, they renamed the band Korn and started recording at Underground Chicken Sound. By 1993, Korn played gigs fairly consistently, and they attracted the attention of Epic Records. This led to the release of their first demo album, Neidermayer's Mind, which was popular with fans who were excited about their unique sound.

Korn and Alice in Chains announced an epic co-headline amphitheater tour across North America in the summer of 2019. Underoath joins as special guest on all dates, with Ho99o9 and FEVER 333 opening on select dates.

Grammy award-winning heavyweights Korn and multi-platinum hard rockers Breaking Benjamin announced their epic tour set for 2020. But... its KORN! đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸ€˜

by LALA on 9/19/22RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater - Ridgefield

Korn never disappoints! Will always be one of my all time favorite bands cause there is no duplicating the bands unique metal style. Seen them twice in concert and will go again next time they come around.

    Too much bass

by Koga79 on 9/19/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

The bass was so loud it drowned out all guitar and vocals. It made evanescence nearly impossible to understand All you can hear is bass and some percussion. I did not stay for korn the sound was so terrible during the first half

    Korn

by Shell. on 9/19/22RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater - Ridgefield

The Concert venu was fun. I love the fact that they were giving cups out to people so they could get water. One of the most supportive concerts I've been to when it comes to making sure concert goers were hydrated. The security was great.

    KoRn 10/10 Venue 6/10

by Xannybars on 9/19/22RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater - Ridgefield

Korn put on a 10/10 show. Sound just as good live as they do on the radio. The venue could use some porta potty’s because the lines for the bathroom were so long that I held it the whole time lol.

    Show itself was great!!

by Maass on 9/19/22RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater - Ridgefield

Both of the 2 heading bands played great. The vocals sounded muddled. Only time you could here them clearly is when they were talking. I would loved to have been able to rate the 1st 2 bands, but we missed them due to the shuttle the email said to take did not work. There were 20-30 people waiting for the shuttle that was supposed to come every 15 min. After over 30 min we ended up getting a Lyft. Wasted a lot of peoples time. I hope others were able to make it

Korn was amazing, parking not so much

by K. H. on 9/19/22RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater - Ridgefield

Show was great, venue is perfect for end of summer concert. What needs work is parking - it is chaos every time. This is only the second time we have paid for premier parking - but it is 100% worth it. There are no signs for premier parking anywhere and the people directing traffic told us the wrong directions at least 3 times to get to the lot, and then we wound up in a lot close to the entrance but we knew not to be the premier parking we asked a worker where we needed to go and they said we where there and just to park in any spot we found -- which is not what we paid for. We had been before years ago so forgot which turnoff to take, but if we hadn't know any better we would have paid for upgraded parking we didn't' get.... Eventually we went through 2 other people to get us to the premier lot behind the venue and it was great and totally worth the extra cost.

Concert itself was incredible, the venue USANA Sucked

by GY on 9/19/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

USANA has gone downhill, very unorganized and for having VIP experience they didn't treat us well. With early access we were not able to buy a drink or even go down to our seats until the full venue was open what is the purpose for having Early entrance if you cannot enjoy it? The people were rude and not very accommodating. if there was another venue around SLC that could accommodate these types of concerts, I would go there before going back to USANA.

    9/10 dreams came true

by MaryBeth N on 9/19/22RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater - Ridgefield

P.O.D. killed it- super impressed with the high energy show. Sonny got into the pit and he did the male vocals on an Evanescence song. Amy Lee is beautiful with a beautiful voice! I've wanted to see Korn for more than 20 years. Dreams came true being front and center in the pit with my 15 year old daughter. Missed Fieldy but the band was amazing, set was rad, over all an experience of a lifetime. ONLY disappointment was Korn setlist wasnt long enough. I was expecting an hour and a half and it was barely an hour. Ra Diaz filling in on Bass was super fun to watch also.

Korn & Evanescence was absolutely amazing

by unicornmom542 on 9/19/22RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater - Ridgefield

From the music, to the lights, to the performance. It was a spectacular show. The 16 year old me was in absolute heaven. Seeing the supportive fans for each of the bands that preformed, really showed how much love and energy they really do put into each concert, every song and every interaction they have with their fan base. 10/10
