    Favorite bands ever.

by MintTurtle on 3/12/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

The concert was absolutely wonderful. CNBLUE started the show, and FTISLAND followed. Midway, though, the PD asked the fans to not use camera or video camera. The video cameras I could see, because the sign said video-taking was prohibited (though many people still did), but the sign also said no flash photography, not no photography. So I was disappointed. Though I love the two groups, FTISLAND is my favorite. Also, even though Jonghyun's and Jaejin's voices were good (Jungshin was a bit difficult to hear, but that's okay because I love him and Jonghyun was singing at the same time normally anyway), but Yong and Hongstar's voices were a bit more nasally, or higher, or just something than usual. It was probably because they had to sing so hard for so long. Yonghwa (and everyone else) looked more than perfect when they came out, but he was having so much fun, and pleasing the fans so much, that by the time LOVE was over (so around 1/3 done with the CNBLUE half), he was sweating like crazy and his hair was all over. (And then there's Jungshin, with his ever perfect hair.) Minhyuk and Minhwan had different drumsets, obviously, and they both played their little hearts out. Minhwan even took off his shirt (but he had an undershirt on), and his arms were just.... wow. Jaejin's sweet voice was like candy to my ears, and Jonghyun's was so heavenly and low (sometimes even high, when doing backup for Yonghwa)... ooh~ goosebumps. Seung and Jonghun both played their guitars well enough to power a city. Yonghwa threw his guitar pick out to the crowd, Minhyuk (or was it Minari? I'm pretty sure it was Minhyuk, though, from my angle), tossed his drumsticks LIGHTLY to a fan (not threw), and Hongki threw his water bottle out to the crowd. Looked like there were more BOICE than PRI (but I was wearing yellow for everything, no other colors but maybe a silver ear cuff and a yellow and white shirt), but there were quite a few ooold, long-loving PRI there by the looks of them (their outfits/blankets/merchandise that's been out of production for a while). Great show. Great fans. Great bands. Great music.

Wow, what a first Kpop Experience!!!

by Kling01 on 3/11/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

Alright, next time these guys come in town, GO! This was my first time going to a Kpop Concert and going to the Nokia Theatre L.A. live. Wow, what an experience! From a guy that doesn't speak the Korean language and never even heard of the word Kpop until recently, I had a blast. The performers were amazing, the fans were fantastic, no one was being rude or ill mannered. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. The Nokia was a small but big Theatre experience. I never thought I would describe a theatre quiet like that but it fits it perfectly. You have to go there to see for yourself to understand what I am talking about. Overall, bring some more Kpop to L.A. Nokia! Kling

by Jaedee23 on 3/11/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

The concert was AWESOME!!! Both bands were truly amazing!!!!! Wish I could understand what they were saying, but otherwise it was superb. I was truly sad when the concert came to an end. I would DEFINITELY go to their concert again if given the chance.

Everyone Was Standing for FTISLAND and CNBLUE

by sillygma1952 on 3/11/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

From the minute the first band came on stage to the very last bow everyone in the audience was standing, cheering, screaming having a good time and showing their love for the bands. It felt like the members of CNBLUE and FTISLAND were having a good time too. I really like both these bands. I was really happy to be able to see them live and I wasn't disappointed. Both Yonghwa and Hong Ki know how to put on a performance that goes beyond their vocals which are amazing. The other members were on as well giving both great vocal and instrumental performances. I hope they come back cause I for one will be in line to see them again. As far as the venue they did have a bit of trouble getting the sound levels right so there was the occasional electronic scream of mic interferance but nobody seemed to care.

    Stand UP was Awesome

by KorBand on 3/11/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

The best $150 I ever spent, the event was awesome, although there was technical problem with one of the member''s guitar. The sound didn't come out for their first song....kinda disappointed but overall was fabulous!!!

    Best concert I've ever seen!!!

by Narusaskara on 3/11/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

Okay, I've been to a lot of concerts in my day but this show was Amazing. I've been a fan of K-music for some time now and have been a follower of FTIsland since 09. They are an amazing band and work very well together. From Honggi's vocals to MinHwan's drums, the whole group is very well harmonized. Their level of expertise has reached to new height's and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for them. As for CNBlue, I am a new fan. I was never very familiar with their music but am now a giddy school girl drooling over the members along with everyone else. *ehem, the drummer anyone* MinHyuk is just too cute, how could I not swoon. Good looks aside, they are a powerhouse band with incredible talent. I am very excited for there future. Lets face it now everyone. We may love the music, we made love lights and the memorable winks. But nothing compares to how much we love our boys. They work very hard and are good because of it. They loose sleep and battle through colds for the fans who live just to experience their fun and inspiring songs. Let's all cheer them on in their lives and not take sides, not bash, or post cruel words on blogs, Because the only thing you accomplish by doing those things, is making yourself look pathetic. Honor, respect, loyalty, and love. Those are the key ingredients to true friendship. So love them, the way they love you.

Please bring CN Blue to LA again soon

by WickMac on 3/11/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

I was on the side of the bass guitar. It was too strong that I could hardly hear their singing. It's either the setup or Nokia. They tried very hard to please LA audience. But I think changing their genre completely to heavy rock compromised their singing and artistic ability. Other than that, this is a group that brought energy and talents. I was just excited to see them. I hope next time it's in a format like their Blue Storm concerts.

FT ISLAND AND CNBLUE WERE AMAZING!

by aibaka on 3/11/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

Both CN Blue and FT Island had amazing stage presence and I enjoyed every moment. Even the songs I wasn't as familiar with I found myself bouncing along happily to. I fangirled along with everyone and sang along to the songs and just had the most amazing time. The moment The CN Blue came on to the moment FT Island and CN Blue left the stage together at the end of the concert I was on cloud nine. The lead vocals of each group (Yonghwa(CN Blue) Hongki(FT Island)) were both amazing and had boundless energy which they shared with us, the fans. I can't wait for another opportunity to see them in concert. :D

The best event a person can experience. ever.

by marshibi on 3/11/12Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

The concert featuring CN Blue and FT Island was an experience that every American fan has been waiting for. The boys performed flawlessly and the crowd was more than appreciative of the musical talent these artists brought to us. With each song the fans sung along in excitement, with the only disappointment being the seemingly short duration of a concert that we did not want to end. I hope that in the future the two bands will play separately so that the fans could fully enjoy longer set lists from each of them. I'm happy that the boys were able to enjoy Los Angeles as much as the fans enjoyed them being here.
