Kitten was formed in Los Angeles in 2009 around vocalist and songwriter Chloe Chaidez, a precocious young talent who formed her first band at age 10 and was opening up for big names like Midlake and Conor Oberst by age 12. Kitten made their debut in 2010 with the Sunday School EP, which they quickly followed up with their second EP Cut it Out in 2011. The band's driving sound and adrenaline-filled performances earned them a reputation as a stellar live act, landing them on tour with high profile artists like Paramore, No Doubt, and Garbage. They released their self-titled debut in early 2014 to critical acclaim, backing up the album's pulsing luster with another epic series of performances. The band's rotating lineup has been in constant flux since its inception, but frontwoman Chloe Chaidez's unparalleled showmanship has remained a constant, making Kitten a favorite among ticket buyers in search of a high-octane concert experience.
I love going to The Sinclair for shows. The venue is the perfect size and the location is great. Not to mention, the ticket prices are very fair. Kitten was a great band to see. The sound they have live is amazing and the band is super friendly. The show was very fun and enjoyable. I will definitely go see them again.
Chloe's vocals are just as fabulous (if not better) live as it is recorded! Great performance and music that you can stand still for! They played a good mix of their old and new music and had a lively stage presence. I can't wait to see Kitten again!
The show was great! That girl can sing!!! And dance!!!! She is a real artist and the lyrics and music are very cool. Chloe is very captivating.
kitten was great and I love the Sinclair venue. They seem to be still forming as a band, but she is well advanced beyond that. Great show, if you like the music you should defiantly go see them live. They talked to everyone, signed stuff and took pictures after the show. All bands should do that!
I've been a die hard Paramore fan since the beginning, and as much as I hate to admit this, I actually enjoyed Kitten a little more than I did Paramore. Chloe had such amazing energy; you could tell that this was her passion. She was sweating more than we were. She was stage diving and jumping off sound equipmant. She ever put her bare feet on the bald security guys' heads. If you enjoy synth-alternative, you should definitely check them out. I'm going to see them again!
Kitten was actually pretty good. i wasnt expecting them to be as good as they were since i had never heard of them but im so glad i do now. Khloe is an amazing singer and has so much energy on stage. She was jumping around having so much fun made the audience have fun as well. Good opening act for Paramore :)
