About

KISS in Concert

For over four decades, KISS have worked hard to fulfill the promise that frontman Paul Stanley makes to audiences every night: "You wanted the best — you got the best!" Now with the band that set the standard for rock ‘n' roll showmanship about to retire their boots and makeup for good, you can bet they will take the KISS experience to a whole new level. For the End of the Road World Tour — which the band bills as "the ultimate celebration for those who've seen us and a last chance for those who haven't" — KISS promises to go out the same way they came in: "unapologetic and unstoppable." And as always, the KISS Army knows that's no idle boast.

This farewell tour promises to be the final chapter of an occasionally X-rated but always entertaining saga that began when two young musicians (Stanley and bassist Gene Simmons) first met in New York City in 1970. After spending a few years cutting their teeth in bands like Wicked Lester, the duo doubled down on a new group with a unique sound that combined the muscle of American hard rock and the flamboyance of British glam. Of course, the makeup, costumes, and wild live theatrics (fire-breathing included) meant that KISS looked as unique as they sounded on such instantly iconic songs as "Strutter," "Shout It Out Loud," and "Rock and Roll All Night." Here was a band whose members were no mere mortals — they were comic-book superheroes.

And so they remained even when the makeup came off in the ‘80s as Stanley and Simmons kept pace with a new generation of rockers with hits like "Lick It Up" and "Heaven's on Fire." Then in 1995, the crowd at Detroit's Tiger Stadium witnessed a piece of history when the original lineup reunited to perform in full KISS regalia. The event also launched a two-decade era of renewed preeminence whose signs included everything from new hit albums to KISS conventions to co-headlining tours with Aerosmith, Def Leppard, and Mötley Crüe. A year after the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, KISS achieved another milestone, becoming the American band with the most gold albums ever.

Through it all, KISS have maintained their allegiance to the members of the KISS Army, the millions of people who've made it all possible. So they can be sure this one last party will end with a bang.

KISS on Tour

KISS announced the last legs of their final tour, the End of the Road Tour. The initial tour announcement was met with huge fan demand for added shows, but the End of the Road Tour will officially come to a close on July 21, 2021 at a NY location yet to be named. KISS is offering VIP experiences and special KISS Army fan presales.

Known for their trademark larger-than-life blistering performances, KISS has proven for decades why they are hands down the most iconic live show in rock n roll. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers who have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide have said this tour is devoted to the millions of KISS Army fans.

The sound was muddy and lacked definition but the energy, pyro, lights, smoke, theatrics and confetti were awesome.

    Open Secret

by Anonymous on 8/8/10Comcast Center - Mansfield

I can't think of anything to say about KISS that hasn't been said before. Beyond the spectacle, there is a damn fine rock n' roll band. I've seen them many times since my first back in '78 and I've yet to be let down.

    Kiss delivered

by drummatt on 8/8/10Comcast Center - Mansfield

Kiss lived up to the expectations that I had. I have wanted to see them since I was a kid and the show was great. A little too much from the new album and not enough of the old hits, but definitely a good show.

    KISS-High Energy/High Impact Concert

by JMalinn on 8/8/10Comcast Center - Mansfield

Kiss were unbelievable. It was my first time seeing them, and so I took the conservative approach and had open air seats. They absolutely rocked the house from start to finish, with a set stemming over 2 hrs and 20 mins. Their encore alone was six songs long, and they each took turns doing solo work throughout the show. The stage presentation and pyros were unlike any I have seen before, and I have been to well over 120 concerts. Overall, I would definetly see them again, hopefully at a place like the Garden if they come back around again.

    Hottest Show on Earth! YES!

by eelicats on 8/8/10Comcast Center - Mansfield

This was my first ever KISS concert and I was completely impressed! Gene Simmons is 60 and Paul Stanley is 58 with recent hip replacements, but you would NEVER know it by the show they put on! Not a dull moment, lots of pyrotechnics, video was fantastic, lights, sound, the whole deal! Paul was the 'ring leader' so to speak, and he got the crowd all fired up! There was a great mix of classics and a few from Sonic Boom. These guys have mastered the art of putting on a SHOW! Total entertainment!

    KISS was better then ever

by rengrave on 8/8/10Comcast Center - Mansfield

I saw them a few times over the years and I even met them backstage about 30 years ago at the Providence Civic Center (now Dunkin Donuts Center). In those days noone knew what they looked like without makeup, but me and my friends got to see and talk to them. We actually put on a show (marionette show of the KISS concert) for Gene backstage at the concert. Gene wanted a set of marionettes (string puppets) for his collection, so I made him a set. It was an unforgettable experience. I tried to meet him again last night at the Comcast center, but it unfortunately didn't happen. The concert was better than ever, very polished and very loud. Each member had a solo to show their talent. They were all very good, better than ever. They are not slowing down. The stage the lights, the sound, the band were all great. I highly recommend anyone, young or old, to see it.

    WHat A SHow

by KissMAyhem on 8/8/10Comcast Center - Mansfield

from the minute kiss hit the stage, the sghow rocked. it was over 2 hours of high-enery, adrenaline-pumped rock n roll like only KISS can deliver. the band dug deep into their catalog as well as playing the usual favorites. all of the trademark theatrics were in effect including gene simmons trademark fire breathing and blood spitting, the hovering drum riser, endless pyrotechnics, guitars shooting sparks, and paul stanley even rode a zipline to a small stage in the middle of the crowd. this was an incredible show that i could see many times more.
