Kirk Whalum is a fantastic performer and put forth a wonderful show. And of course, Jimmy's is a terrific venue.

I saw Kirk Whalum at a small venue, Jimmy's Jazz and Blues, in Portsmouth, NH and he was AMAZING!! SOOO talented, personable, and fun! You will NOT be disappointed if you go see him in concert!!
What a great show KW put on Friday night in New Hampshire. Nothing like hearing live music in a great venue. He and his fellow performers put on a great show. The audience was into it and he was the ultimate showman! Portsmouth did it right on Friday nite!
Kirk gave us a tour of all things musical, from jazz, gospel, r&b and more. It was a great show and he is a great showman. The music was awesome.

Very good concert. Loved how he incorporated old school R & B jams into his numbers. He reminded me at times of Junior Walker. My fiancé said he needed to tune his saxophone - it was a little flat, and you could tell it at times throughout the set, but overall it was a very enjoyable concert.
In 2019 my oldest brother passed. He was a phenomenal saxophonist! When I miss him, I listen to saxophonist and jazz. His name is Lonzel Fleming. He was a local musician in Charlotte, NC. He was actually in the movie: "The Color Purple." Although, he didn't play the saxophone in the movie, he is the brother at the piano when "Sug Avery" bursted in the church singing, "God's Trying To Tell You Something." I was touched by the caring approach regarding the brother who had just lost his mother. That event alone was worth my five hour drive too see you. My brother often played at the cemetery when families were departing. Many talked about how that ministered to their souls. That was a nice parallel. Kirk, thanks for being authentically and unapologetically yourself. I love Jesus too!
I truly enjoyed the Kirk Whalum’s concert.. the experience was one that I would recommend to everyone… I loved 🥰 the way he involved his audience and I loved that he came out and mingled with the audience, it was a very beautiful concert 🎵 to see be a part of……

I enjoyed the concert so much!! I was very excited how he came off the stage and made it a personal experience for many people. He was very personable in his performance. The entire band did their thing in the solos each one of them performed. I hope he comes back because I will definitely go see him again.

First thing was the venue. The place is awesome! Comfortable seats. Ur able to see from the back seats the stage. The concert was one of my number 10’s . He didn’t perform long but didn’t have to. This was a great concert. Kirk learned his crowd and rolled with em!! Gave some spiritual nuggets out. Just awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🧕🏽🥷🏾‼️

The Concert was nice and the band put on an awesome performance. If you are a Jazz fan I would highly recommend going to see Kirk Whalum. I would definitely go see this band again 😊
