About

Singer/songwriter and MCA Nashville recording artist Kip Moore unleashed his major label debut Up All Night in 2012. When the casual, baseball cap-clad country crooner takes the stage for arena shows and theater concerts nowadays he belts out fan favorites like “Beer Money”, “Something ‘Bout a Truck”, and “Hey Pretty Girl”. Moore made his way to country music via blue-collar rock, listening to icons like Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, and Tom Petty as he rode around rural Georgia with his father. After college and before he started headlining gigs and selling tickets, the Southern musician spent six months living it up in a beachside Hawaiian hut with just a surfboard, a guitar, and a good friend - eventually making his way to Nashville and jumping into the songwriting scene. Since then Moore has spent time on tour with Billy Currington and David Nail and penned songs for country duo Thompson Square. He continues crafting tunes lyrically influenced by his small-town roots with fellow songwriters Dan Couch, Scott Steppakoff, Westin Davis, and Kiefer Thompson.

by DDStone on 4/12/13El Rey Theatre - Hollywood

We had a fantastic time. Thanks Kip. We were front row, leaning on the stage, and singing along. Thanks for playing all your hits. Your songs are so meaningful, fun and heartfelt. And thanks for having Courtney Cole open up - what a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice. You and your band are great and we can't wait til you come back to the Los Angeles area.

    Rocked the house down!!!

by Yuli22 on 4/12/13El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Wildfeathers is an explosive opening act that brought the energy immediately onstage. These boys will be headlining their own shows soon. Bluegrass Indy American Rock wonderful vibe is how I'd describe their music. Kip Moore and his band are out of this world great!!!! Time flies when they are onstage. Kip knows how to live it up onstage and will have u rocking to his tune! Acoustic set is fenomenal and too short and that's my only complain. He blends in his trustworthy Up All Night album songs with new material from his upcoming album during the show thats non stop adrenaline rush of good music and a great band. El Rey Theater was a nice cozy venue with ability ot be right next to stage. Fabulous night.

by CountryGal54321 on 4/11/13El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Kip Moore is awesome! He really interacts with the crowd. He sounds even better in person than he does on his album. You can tell he really enjoys what he is doing. He is extremely talented. I love Kip Moore!

    I want some Moore!

by Maranica on 4/11/13El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

It was a really fun, energetic show with Kip playing the whole Up All Night CD and some new songs from the next record. Some people in the crowd got rowdy and obnoxious at times but the venue people helped remove them. Kip interacted with the crowd, shook his hips and had every girl there in love with him. I loved that he went to the merchandise booth and signed stuff afterwards.

    Great performer!!

by MonkeyM on 4/11/13El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

I only knew two of his songs going to the show, but I had seen him open for Eric Church last November and knew from that performance that his show would be great! He sounds great live and has great energy on stage! My favorite part about him though is the way he interacts with the crowd. He was reaching out to people in the front, signed a girl's cowboy boot during a song and even grabbed someone's phone as they were video recording him and shot some video of himself. I would definitely go see him again! Also, The Wild Feathers were probably one of the best opening acts I've ever seen!

Mezzanine was completely oversold, we got there 1.5 hours before the show and we couldn't see Kip on stage all night. Acoustics in Mezzanine were awful.

    Excellent Show

    by Matj969 on 3/24/13Ryan Center - Kingston

This show was great, the opening act (A 1000 horses) had a great country rock sound to them. The show was great. Kip really communicated with the crowd, he played non-stop from the beginning of the show until the end and showed his support for country in New England with a great show at a great price. Well worth the money to go see and I would highly recommend it.

    simply amazing :-)

by BeanerBear on 3/24/13Webster Hall - New York

it was a packed house and appropriately so. Kip and the guys put on an amazing show. Kip has great energy and he connects with the crowd. He jokes with them, and sings to some. he has eye contact, when he's looking at you, you know it. At one point of the show he drank a beer with a fan and then stopped a little scuffle mid song. he's has a great, groovy way about him. it makes you wanna just rock along with him. you can really tell he loves what he does.

    Kip Moore has arrived

by nashwriter on 3/24/13Ryan Center - Kingston

Kip has traveled around with his band for the past 10 years playing for crowds of 30, 50, 150...but over 3,000 of us were ENTERTAINED Friday night. Starting out with an amazing up and coming young lady by the name of Courtney Cole who connected to the audience with her acoustic set of songs like Headlights and Shotgun. Then A Thousand Horses warmed the crowd up nicely with their rocking country sound. But the highlight of the night was Kip Moore. The crowd sang along to every song and Kip connected with the audience telling stories of how personal his songwriting is and how grateful he was to have such a great crowd to sing with.

Kip Moore was absolutely amazing on stage. He has a great stage presence, and interacts well with the audience. He and his band actually sound good live, which can't be said for many performers. He had a good mix of old and new music of his that kept the show moving fast. Overall thoroughly enjoyable to watch, not to mention his physical attractiveness. I would definitely see him perform again. The actual venue and the audience were another story. The bar area outside of the hall was not the cleanest, and not geared to its country crowd that night. I opted out of getting anything besides bottled water there. Some of the audience members were outright rude to each other and I definitely saw at least two fights break out. It's an unfortunate and inevitable symptom of GA tickets. It detracted from the experience considerably.
