About

Singer/songwriter and MCA Nashville recording artist Kip Moore unleashed his major label debut Up All Night in 2012. When the casual, baseball cap-clad country crooner takes the stage for arena shows and theater concerts nowadays he belts out fan favorites like “Beer Money”, “Something ‘Bout a Truck”, and “Hey Pretty Girl”. Moore made his way to country music via blue-collar rock, listening to icons like Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, and Tom Petty as he rode around rural Georgia with his father. After college and before he started headlining gigs and selling tickets, the Southern musician spent six months living it up in a beachside Hawaiian hut with just a surfboard, a guitar, and a good friend - eventually making his way to Nashville and jumping into the songwriting scene. Since then Moore has spent time on tour with Billy Currington and David Nail and penned songs for country duo Thompson Square. He continues crafting tunes lyrically influenced by his small-town roots with fellow songwriters Dan Couch, Scott Steppakoff, Westin Davis, and Kiefer Thompson.

    Disappointed

by Avid Concert Attendee on 5/6/24Greenfield Lake Amphitheater - Wilmington

This was our first (and last) time attending a concert at Live Oak Amphitheater. While the concert and performers were fantastic (Cody Jinks, Erin Viancort) the venue itself was a huge disappointment. We have been attending concerts for many years at various sized venues. We have always been able to see the performers at each of the locations. Live Oak Amphitheater was poorly designed for visibility. We were able to see the performers on the stage if the crowd did not stand up but, once the headliner appeared and everyone was on their feet, you were lucky if you were able to catch a glimpse between the heads of the crowd. There needs to be a steeper slope in both the seated section and on the lawn and/or the stage needs to be about 5' taller. When we walked in, there were people lined up on the top rim of the complex, as far away from the stage as you could get. I questioned this as in previous concert attendances where the lawn was an option, most people flock to the front of the lawn section. I'm guessing they had been to Live Oak before and knew they needed the height to be able to see the performers on the stage. There was one actual bathroom that was close to our seats and lots of port-a-potties which were a distance walk away. The drink locations were ideal for our section. We did not purchase any food or merchandise so I cannot comment on that. The staff was great and were particularly helpful to a blind attendant, her service dog, and her partner. The staff member's kindness brought her partner to tears. That "almost"earned Live Oak an extra star but the poor visibility cannot be overlooked as we were excited to see Cody Jinks perform in person for the first time. He did put on a great show to listen to! We may have to catch him again at a different venue so we can "see"him and his band perform. Hopefully Live Oak Amphitheater can add some slope to the seating area and lawn section and/or raise the stage so everyone can enjoy and SEE the artist they paid to see.

Kip Moore puts on the best concert! He has so much energy and you get a lot for money because he really gets a lot of songs In for the time he has. This was my second time of seeing him at greenfield lake and will continue to go see him every time he comes into town.

Amazing artist horrible promotion on Center 200!

    by Kara on 12/8/23Centre 200 - Sydney

Kip moore was an amazing show! He’s an amazing artist. I couldn’t get over the lack of advertising and promotion on Center 200s behalf. It should have been without a doubt a sold out venue. We’ll be lucky if someone of his caliber ever comes this way again.
