    1 hour set???

by Nyc412 on 10/8/13Luckman Fine Arts Complex - Los Angeles

Was really looking forward to my first Kinky show. After about an hour they wrapped up their set. They came back for another 3 songs. Maybe the school needs them to finish by a certain time or maybe since their was no pit the band couldn't feel the crowds vibe. Will give them the benefit of the doubt & will check them out at another venue.

    In complete awe...

by prissy1112 on 10/8/13Luckman Fine Arts Complex - Los Angeles

Being a fan for years now, this was my first time seeing them live. Let me tell you, they don't disappoint. From beginning to end the show was filled with energy, from the new songs to their past hits. An amazing band to see live. How did I not see them sooner? I can't wait until they come back again.

    Kinky concert

by Belmari on 1/6/12Conga Room - LA

The Concert was suppose to start at 8:30pm. It started at nearly 11:00 which was unacceptable. The Conga Room was playing over and over the same dance music which I got sick of after the third time. Kinky was really good full of enery as usual. They sang their hits as well as the new album that the just had released. I have no complaints on the show it lasted for about an hour and a half. The guys were great and did'n't stop once to rest. The crowd was majorly drunk and somewhat rowdy, but not that bad.

Worst show I have ever seen!!!

    by Califgirl80 on 1/2/124th and B - San Diego

It was a new years eve show! the band didn't show up until after 12 o'clock. The whole time before that we had to listen to most terrible "Trance" ever. The DJ didn't know what she was doing and the music was just unbearable (BTW, I am a big electronic music fan). Than there was lots of bla-bla on the stage where the DJ girl and another guy were trying to win some time and keep the crowd occupied, at midnight!!! But guess what, the crowd was not having the fun we came there for and there was no partying, dancing, nothing... It was new year's eve! As the band finally arrived and started playing, the sound was just horrible. We simply had to leave after 30-45 min as we could not stand this arrogant band with very crappy sound. Kinky... never again... 4th and B... never again...

Last night was another amazing Kinky show. I've seen them three times and every time they are incredible!!! They are my favorite band...they rock it live ...sound even better live than on their CDs. From the first song the whole audience was up and dancing!!! These guys are so hot...incredible musicians and sexy dancers! A totally rockin' show...I can't believe it was not completely sold out here in LA. It should have been!!! If you get the chance GO SEE KINKY!

    Kinky was amazing!

by Fabi17 on 2/28/10Luckman Fine Arts Complex - Los Angeles

Kinky rules when it comes to providing awesome dance/funk music that is so much fun to dance. The band members were just on top of it with there performance, jumping and thrashing around on stage to the sound of their own music. It sure made me dance and scream like crazy, especially when the base player threw the microphone on the audience because he was so busy spinning around, haha! I also like that the Gil started interacting with his fans. The only bad part is that it left the ones in the back wanting some of that interaction. :) My best advice: if you ever go to one of Kinky's concert, make sure you're in the front.

Bad sound ruined it for me

by Pixelmystic2 on 9/29/09House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

This show was a disappointment, due to the sound quality. Kinky has recorded some great music, and I was really looking forward to hearing them perform it live. Although the band put on an energetic performance and seemed to be enjoying themselves, the overly loud and muddy sound made it impossible for me to enjoy myself. I’m sorry to say that we ended up leaving early. The House of Blues in Dallas is a great venue for music, and I have enjoyed excellent sound at several shows there, so I know they can do right by loud rock. For whatever reason, it just wasn’t happening during Kinky’s gig.

    fatboy slim plays ranchero

by dallaspulla on 9/28/09House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

I'm from Europe (Finland), so not so familiar with latino rhythms. However, the captivating and energetic playing of Kinky with spices from electronic music and latino background was something unheard of and refreshing for a long-time gig-goer like me. Really nice sunday evening at the House of Blues Dallas!

    Kinky is Awesome

by JayNar on 9/20/09Jazz Fest - New orleans

We saw Kinky in concert at New orleans Jazz Fest this past spring -- one of the best rock bands ever! It's hard to believe I don't hear them on radio, they are so much better than most of what else is out there. Their recordings are great -- their concert is incredible!
