    Great show!

by Bill on 10/4/22John, James and Clara Knight Stage - Akron

The show was great! Very entertaining. I only gave it four stars due to the venue. The seating was *very* disappointing. The Knight Stage puts down banquet style chairs on the floor. Nothing wrong with that but they smash them together as close as possible. The result is you are shoulder-to-shoulder with the people on either side of you for the entire concert. NOT very comforting in this age of COVID. They need to remove two to three chairs per row to give people a little space. If they don't fix this, I won't be back.

    Kingston Trio in Akron, OH

by Jeff on 10/4/22John, James and Clara Knight Stage - Akron

I enjoyed the concert and thought it was outstanding. The current members of the Kingston Trio were entertaining and played all the favorites that I remember from way back when. They are very talented with both their instruments and their singing. The venue size was good for the size of the audience which was full. It was in the Akron Civic Theater on the John, James and Clara Knight Stage. They had beverages of your choice and snacks for sale. Thanks for coming to a smaller town.

Awesome evening with The Kingston Trio

    by Ta2dmom3 on 5/5/22Birchmere - Alexandria

I remember listening to this music with my parents as a young child. I guess we cut our teeth on folk music. They did not disappoint and The Birchmere is the best. There isn't a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are great. The Kingston Trio was lively, funny, fun and good as ever. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

    Wonderful Music and Venue

by Friedmantbo on 1/24/20Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

First of all, the Amaturo Theater is a terrific, modestly sized venue. It’s comfortable and the sound is great. It was great to hear the Kingston Trio. They put on a great show. During many of the songs I closed my eyes and was back in another time. Their musicianship and storytelling could not have been better. If they come back, we will go again.

Sure, they’re not the original 3, but the songs, harmonies, musicianship and humor are all unchanged. A wonderful show.

    Celebration of American Folk Music

by L. S. on 1/24/20Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

A delightful evening of fine entertainment! Loved hearing some history of folk tunes I sang during my childhood. These guys work well together; they complement each other. Beautiful harmonizing and they invited the audience to sing along. Ended with a moving “This Land Is Your Land,” and they have background and attribution to familiar giants in the folk music genre.

    Awesome night in VA

by KEATS on 9/18/19Birchmere - Alexandria

It was unbelievable!!!! Three groups entertained over a thousand fans, most if not all, had some if not all, WHITE HAIR. Can’t wait to see them again. Everyone was joining in and signing along with whoever was on stage. The Kingston Trio met all of my expectations, I loved it.

    HOOTENANNY NIGHT

by Igor on 9/18/19Birchmere - Alexandria

Back to back performance of three folk song era groups was quite welcome to our Hootenanny Saturday Night afficianados who went through that wonderful era in the early 1960's, including requests and encouagement from the performers to sing along. Evening was capped off with all three groups coming out after the groups had performed individually. Each group played a few short songs while the others also strummed and hummed. Finally all three played and sang old favorites together. It was a legit Hootenanny!

    Good Old Folk Music!

by Happy on 6/5/19South Point Showroom at South Point Hotel Casino and Spa - Las Vegas

Was an enjoyable 90 minute concert from the 60s! They are a little corny, but harmless with their political humor!!

    Keeping the Tradition Alive

by SnoopMolly on 5/2/19Balboa Theatre - San Diego

These may not be the original members of The Kingston Trio, but they are a credit to those members by doing a terrific job of keeping the Trio's traditions alive. The selection of songs was exactly what I wanted to hear, all done with strong voices, perfect harmonies, and amazing instrumentation. Their use of humor was inspirational. I couldn't have enjoyed myself more!
