This was the worst show I ever went to. Like over half the crowd, I left during the main act. The guy that introduced the show was funny but only talked about sex. Funny, but nothing else. The second guy was a bomb and the third was okay. The main act, "Killer Beez" was the worst comedian I've ever seen. My wife got a drink 20 minutes into his act and never returned. I gave him another 20 minutes before leaving. The only good part about his act was that he was so bad, I bonded with the people around me as we laughed at him. Sorry, but I feel everyone should have their money returned.
Overall an average-ish comedy show. Some hits from each. The third comic in the set was the strongest, although he relied very heavily on the F-Bomb. The very southern hayseed headliner (Killer Beaz) used lazy comedy ploys for laughs rather than cleverly written jokes. Worth a $20.00 seat, but not much more. A few laughs better than hte overcrowded bar scene on NYE :)
I think over all, a comedy show on New Years eve is a good event. However, the comedians that performed were fair at best....the material had no edge..was basically them telling their life stories which were not that funny or entertaining.
The comedians went 3 for 4, with the last leaving much to be desired in the laughs department. Other than the last performace, we were in stiches the entire time. Well worth the price of admission, and will become a New Years tradition.
