Kery Noble was good! She is always engaging and fun to see live. I was a little disappointed not to hear a little more of her last CD.
Keri is the consumate performer, but in that personal, earthy way that only humble performers can be! Songwriting and musical talent beyond words, and an artist that has no trouble relating instantly with her audience, and expressing the poignancy, passion, and intensity behind each of her songs -- the ballads, the rowdy numbers, and everything in between! Her band was in great form supporting the piano-focused melodies, occasionally taking a highlighted role, and keeping it real! The concert was a beautiful mixture of beloved older numbers, and inspiring new songs that share lyrics of great maturity and depth gift wrapped in enticing and unforgetable music! The Varsity Theatre was the perfect venue for this crazily talented musician and singer -- eclectic and elegant! Can't wait to see Keri in January and February at her other upcoming local concerts!
Always genuine, easy going and an accomplished singer/writer/musician, Keri Noble always impresses me with her vocal range. Like a fine wine, her performances continue to get better with age and experience. A Keri Noble concert does for the soul what my mom's chicken soup used to.
I went to see Keri with three women who were big fans and had seen many concerts. While I was mesmerized and delighted by the tight band and honest and open dialogue from Keri, the gals said they had liked other shows better (especially when it was just Keri and the piano.) As for me, I would go again in a second! I loved her!
