About

There’s a reason Kenny Chesney is the only country act in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years - in spite of the fact he’s only been a headliner for a dozen years: the singer/songwriter from Luttrell, Tennessee has an insatiable need to take the stage, make sure his fans have the night of their summer -- and he does it with songs that are mirrors to their lives. High-energy, big fun and good times mark his two hour-plus performances, as 'well as the 25-and-counting #1s that include “When The Sun Goes Down,” “Somewhere With You”, “Young”, “There Goes My Life”, “Out Last Night”, “I Go Back”, “Keg In The Closet”, ”Anything But Mine” and “Beer In Mexico.”

An 8-time Entertainer of the Year, the man deemed “The King of the Road” by The Wall Street Journal and “The People’s Superstar” by The Los Angeles Times believes that if you can move people - especially people at the very back of a stadium -- then you’ve brought everything you have to give. But what drives Chesney isn’t the rush of performing so much as the passion with which people respond to the music.

You can throw it out there pretty hard, and my fans will always throw it back harder, Chesney marvels. They come to live these songs, to feel’em, to touch’em, to experience them together... and when that energy hits the stage, the way those people - whether it’s 50,000 in a stadium or a few hundred in a bar love this music, it pushes me that much harder.

It pushes him hard enough that he devoted 2014 to making The Big Revival, his 13th #1 Billboard Country Albums debut. With the Platinum certified multiple week #1 “American Kids” and it’s follow-up “Til Its Gone” hitting the charts at #18 with a bullet on add date, Chesney’s music has once again struck a nerve with the No Shoes Nation.

Again, pushing the boundaries of what modern country can do - three rhythm patterns, double hooks, stark Appalachia with Alison Krauss and Dan Tymynski, hard rock, a woman-empowering ballad with Grace Potter,  Chesney’s roots are in tradition, but his heart is on how far he can take the music. With The Big Revival Tour gearing up, it will take that no-holds-barred approach and bring it to the fans without limit.

I signed up for best available tickets the minute they went on sale and was in section 303 so the side view was tough, but it happens, hard to see the screens, and I can try for better seats next time. But the concert itself was terrific, good sound, and it made me an even bigger Church fan, I liked the lights, the set list, the way the camera showed all performers and not just the main singer.

    Most Awesome show ever!!!!

by Kcorn on 7/23/13Sports Authority Field At Mile High - Denver

Kenny Chesney is this generations Jimmy Buffet. His music just speaks to the crowd. He's not bad to look at either. I love the graphics behind him during he different songs. It brings back childhood memories. Favorite songs; Boys of Fall, I Go Back, and When the Sun Goes down.

    Wear rubber clothing!

by scottjdb on 7/23/13Sports Authority Field At Mile High - Denver

The concert was pretty good, Kenny put the most effort into his performance vs the other bands. There were no dynamic stunts or use of long stages that brought the performer closer to the crowd. What ruined it for me was the amazing number of not just drunk but sloppy drunk people that were in the stands, falling down, puking, starting fights and in our case spilling beer all over as they danced behind us. We were lucky not to get a full cup on us like some others around us but got our fair share of sloshes.

Great show! Field tickets were amazing and so easy to enjoy the on-field experience. I wouldn't call the venue an intimate setting but i think I actually enjoyed it more. Missed Kasey Musgraves act but The Eli Young Band, Eric Church and Kenny Chesney were great.

    Wow! For sure!

by Anonymous on 7/23/13Sports Authority Field At Mile High - Denver

No matter the cost of your tickets, you got your money's worth well before Kenny! Eric hutch was phenomenal and Eli young band played so well! All the songs were popular and even if you didn't know one or two you could still enjoy the performances. Kenny was full of energy and the crowd fed off him! It was awesome!

    Chesney concert terrible sound

by RickyLee79 on 7/23/13Sports Authority Field At Mile High - Denver

I don't normally write reviews, so this will be an exception. I sat in the 500s with a friend for this show and the sound was awful. Perhaps that's what happens when you buy the cheap seats, but it really was difficult to understand what the performers were saying. The sound for Eric Church was downright awful.

    Kenny Chesney- not impressed!

by Atombomb123 on 7/23/13Sports Authority Field At Mile High - Denver

The venue was too big and the sound was horrible! I know every song of his and I was straining to understand every one. I'll buy his CD's but I won't go to any of Kenny Chesney concerts again. My first and last Kenny Chesney concert, for being a big fan- it was a let down.
