Ken Yates Tickets

I saw Ken at a small club in a Chinese restaurant here in LA on 10-18-24. He was solo, but the Thistle Bros. opened for him, and they stayed to do back-up on a few of Ken’s songs. It was a pretty short performance, but very good. Ken played 2-3 new songs that will appear on a new album that Ken stated should be released in early 2025. (New songs were “My love for you is a straight line” and “Total Cinema”) I believe he mentioned the his new album will also be titled Total Cinema. The best songs he played were “Don’t mean to wake you” and “Small Doses”. I was hoping for “Anchor and Sail” but he did not play it. He did say he asked for song requests on Facebook before the show. Ken seems a bit shy, but warmed to the small (40-50) crowd. He stayed a bit after the show to talk to the crowd, and I scored a playlist. I will be back to see him next time he is in LA
