Ken Ford Tickets

Jackiem Joyner was fantastic! This was our first time seeing him in concert and he and his band sounded incredible. After a nearly 1 hour wait between bands, Ken Ford FINALLY entered onto the stage. Given that the concert started a little late to begin with, the time between bands was ridiculously excessive (with no acknowledgment or announcement by staff as to why the delay), and Ken Ford's showboat style (not for me), I saw several rows of people file out of the show during his performance. It was unfortunate. When we looked back one last time as we exited early as well, it was clear that more than half of the attendees walked out during his show. Bottom line: Jackiem Joyner is a five star performer. I would pass on Ken Ford and I would definitely recommend the Saenger Theatre do a better job of planning as well as communicating during the concert with the audience. Will give them another try as this was my first concert there but as of now, not too impressed. One last thing, Joyner really should have been the headliner, did not understand the order of the bands at all.

Outstanding show by both performers, top notch. Too bad the Pensacola jazz community did not get the word. It appears, there were way too many open seats. I don't think it was advertised correctly.

We had the best of times... Crowd was jazzed. Bass player for Joyner was hot. We laughed, clapped and moved with the beat. Fantastic evening.
